Abbeywood was on of three quotes we got prior to moving our 1100 sq. ft. house. They we not the lowest but they budgeted more hours than the other quote and promised that anything we moved ourselves would result is less hours and a lower invoice. On move day Sergei and his crew were great to deal with and the move came in under the quote as promised. There was a minor invoice correction that Judy dealt with quickly. All told a very smooth experience.

Punctual, hard working and cooperative workers. Straight forward costs properly explained to me when I reserved. Easy to deal with. Job went well and workers were prepared to do everything I asked them to do.

What an amazing team AbbeyWood has. I have moved many times and this was the best moving crew I have ever had. Mine was a two tiered move starting with a storage unit load and then a condo load the next day then on to St. Catharines. Judy was amazing, setting up the move and easing my discomfort on many levels. Nadeem, Phillip, Travis and Jordon were awesome. They were hardworking, helpful, respectful and good humoured even down to the final hour after an extraordinarily long day. Many thanks to all. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them to anyone longing for the ultimate, professional moving crew.

Many thanks to John and Lynn for fabulous support and service. My husband and I are planning a long distance move. We needed to stage our house for sale so required pick up and storage but also needed to co ordinate our long distance move. The guys who came to pick up our "stuff" for storage were polite, courteous, fast and friendly. John and Lynn have been patient with my multitude of questions and concerns as well as understanding of my anxiety for a move of this magnitude. We also had a special local move for an antique that was going to family instead of with us! I highly recommend Abbeywood Moving!.

Wonderful team to deal with, from the very beginning to the very end! I had the pleasure of coordinating the move with Judy. Being busy with work and life, Judy was flexible with communicating via which ever method (both phone and email) was more convenient for me. I must have sent her over a dozen emails, and each time she would respond within a few hours (even on weekends and evenings!). She provided a written quote (not all companies were willing to do this), and there were NO SURPRISES when it was time for the move or the billing. On the day of the move, the movers arrived on time (this is always an uncertainty with other moving companies). I was moving from a house to a condo, so there were 3 guys (Sergii, Phillip and Jeremy) and a (medium-sized?) truck. Judy explained to me that when moving to/from a condo, there should always be at least 3 movers so that at least one person is with the possessions in the truck. I was worried that the person who stays with the truck would just be sitting there, but he was unloading the truck and bringing the items to load the elevator. The movers did a great job wrapping and protecting the railings (stairs) and laying down runners to protect the floors. Unlike other moving companies who try to be slow and take their time with moving (since they are paid by the hour), these guys moved fast but also carefully to not cause any damage to anything. Overall, a wonderful experience. I cannot think of anything that would have made the move any better. I would highly recommend this Abbeywood Moving! Thank you!

Punctual, congenial staff. Judy was thorough and accommodating and Sergei and his crew were helpful and efficient. They took extra steps to get furniture in place and treated everything as if it was fragile. Great long distance move - would not hesitate to use again.

The moving company loaded our home one day, using 4 men. The contents were delivered by 3 men the next. Despite our emails to the sales rep and the owner of the company that we had experienced breakage and also the disappearance of a diamond ring, the owner has not once tried to reach us or conduct an internal investigation into our allegations. Our insurance claim has also been denied as the owners wife says we must have packed our goods improperly. We had arranged for our piano to be moved by a separate mover, paid to have our glass table boxed and moved art, tvs and other valuables ourselves. I would advise anyone who is moving to consider carefully before choosing this company.

We hired this company to move us to a different city (about a 3 hour journey). I was a bit worried because they were late, but when they showed up they were kind, quick and careful with all of our stuff. We ended up showing up to our new place and I was expecting them to be at least 45 minutes behind us- but they showed up maybe 10 minutes behind us (which was amazing because we got stuck in traffic and then my boyfriend and I drove quickly as soon as traffic started flowing again). They unpacked quickly, carefully and somehow managed to get all of our stuff into our tiny storage unit. We ended up paying around 150 more then we were quoted BUT this is totally understandable considering the traffic from city to city was horrible, and I sprung an extra stop onto the trip. We actually were worried we would get charged way more then quoted so we were happy to hear that it was really close to our quote. Our team was so nice and very careful with all our stuff and understood that we wanted to get it all done with quickly. So even though we had a couple unfortunate situations I still give this company a good overall total experience. Thanks again AbbeyWood.

Hired these movers, the guys were great and very efficient. Had 2 trucks and 6 men do the move. They were great guys. We had a minor issue with the price, but it was adjusted and we felt very comfortable with the outcome. Great management for sure and a great girl named Judy who came to the house and did our quote and she kept in touch to make sure everything was going along fine before the move. She even has checked up on his after the move. Very professional. Would recommend this moving company for sure.
