We had called several companies recommended by Home Stars and the other ones either had really high quotes or took such a long time getting back. From the first time I called Tome, I was impressed. I had called Joe while he was in the midst of a move but he called back when he said he would. The guys arrived exactly on time (we were still rushing to pack odds and ends), were very polite & friendly, they were careful with all our belongings and so fast. They were done in under 3.5 hours, I just couldn't believe it. I would recommend them to anyone who is thinking of movers...

Tome was great. They were easy to schedule, reasonably priced, and showed up on time and completed the job very quickly. The actual move was hassle free. They put all my stuff in the truck, arrived at my new house, and unloaded everything carefully and efficiently. They were done so fast I almost wasn't ready for them since I was still packing a few items. I would recommend Tome to anyone. The whole team was a pleasure to deal with.

A friend recommended Tome (she was using them for the second time, and raved about them) for our move. Packed storage locker, 2nd floor walk-up apartment with a tricky exit, all moved to a 3-story victorian. The guys were friendly, super fast, never grumbled (my favourite part - I'm used to movers complaining!), and were really careful with our stuff, packing and setting everything down carefully. On top of all of that, they were cheaper than the other companies we looked at. I'd enthusiastically recommend them to anyone who asked.

Moving is usually stressful, but the team from Tome was professional, careful, and treated the job like they were moving their own prized possessions - it was great. They worked incredibly hard, and were a pleasure to deal with. If you want a superior moving team, you should hire these guys!

From the first phone call to the time they drove away from our new house, Tome Movers were a dream. Everyone we dealt with was so professional, polite, friendly and careful. They made the whole moving process very enjoyable. Nothing was too big or too small for them to move. I don't think there was a scratch on any of our belongings ... and they were in and out, finished the whole job in well under 4 hours. We got their name through a family reference ... and we have since referred them to friends of ours who are moving soon. You will be so glad you hired them for your move!!

This was my first time hiring movers and have heard the horror stories so I was anxious about choosing the right company. I used this site to help me with my decision. I could not have been happier with my choice to go with Tome Moving, John and his crew were absolutely fantastic. I don't know how but they managed to move very large and heavy gym equipment and an oversized sofa into a much smaller space with barely a scratch. I have already recommended them to friends and would not hesitate to use them again. Thanks for a stress free move guys.

Tome truly did an excellent job moving our offices from Avenue to St Clair. John arrived a few days in advance and made sure he knew the scope of the job. They came 2 hours early, disassembled all our desks and equipment and put it all back together in approx 4 hours. He has an excellent crew that were really careful with everything. We would hire them again without hesitation. Thank you Tome!

I asked around at work for a recommended moving company and someone told me she moved with this company as well as her grandmother. Said they were great so I went ahead and booked them with confidence. Wasn't disappointed at all. They arrived right on time, were friendly and very fast. They were also careful with my stuff and careful not to track dirt into the new place. Will definitely recommend to others!

This was my first real move where I needed to hire movers. I have heard the horror stories about moving- scratched & broken furniture, lazy hourly-paid workers... Well, thank goodness I called Tome. I definitely did not experience any of that! They arrived early, and unpacked/packed up the truck within 4 hours! They didn't stop to drink the Tim Hortons I brought for them! They were excellent. I highly recommend them to everyone! Thank you Joe and friends! It was a pleasure! And thanks to Homestars for this forum - I would have never found them if not for this site!

Recommended by a friend, John and crew were fantastic. They showed up on time and the move took less than originally estimated and for a very reasonable price. They totally took the stress out of the day for me!! Professional and friendly, I will definitely recommend Tome Cartage to all.
