Second time hiring this company. This last visit, they sent a couple of kids in an unmarked truck. They used extension ladders around the house but rather than calling me at the office (one block away from my home) to provide them balcony access, they used an extension ladder to gain access to my balcony. Without a step ladder, they used poles to clean the glass above the balcony but were short, so they stood on my $1,200 patio chair and broke the leg of my chair, said nothing. I contacted the owner who will only call himself Steve (no last name), tells me that they crews all get one week training, denied responsibility and refuses to pay for his crews mistake. These crews used no safety harnesses and are at incredible risk for injury. Here is what Steve has to say "As for the chair, I have a lot of faith in our guys and I would HIGHLY doubt that one of our trained technicians would have damaged or stood on your chair. They have step ladders and poles to reach windows and they all went through at least a week of training before ever being sent to a customer's house" I will pursue my claim in Small Claims court but know that if you chose to use this company and if things don't go well, you will be spending time & money in court.

The third time I hired Windows 2000. They always do a fantastic job, show up on time, are courteous and efficient. We are recommending them to everybody. Extremely satisfied. Companies like this are hard to find these days! 10 stars for Windows 2000!

Work was not thorough - they failed to remove the glass from the screen door in order to clean both sides. The solution they used left streaks on the windows.

I called various other companies and found Windows 2000 to be the most reasonably priced. Polite people who were very professional in all they did and in a timely manner. Would definitely call them again.

I've been using Windows 2000 for two years now. Calling and booking an appointment that suited my schedule was easy and they were on time for the appointment. In addition to cleaning out my eaves trough they also cleaned my two skylights. I would recommend them to friends and family any day.

Jamie scheduled the job for the day after I had called. Called from the site to outline any changes to the work. Charged me less than he quoted. He did a thorough job at cleaning eaves troughs that hadn't been cleaned in years. On top of it, he came back the very next day after I called to do a follow up, tightened the troughs to the roof, and didn't charge me a dime. I would recommend him without hesitation.

I had very high expectations given the Homestars reviews and also I have quite high standards, but I'm afraid these were not met. Maybe less picky people would have been satisfied - I am the first to admit that I am hard to please! After my intial enquiry by phone, I had to chase for a quote, i.e. email Jamie to remind him, as he had not provided it in the time frame indicated. In his reply email he called me by the wrong name, presumably a different customer, but eventually he did give me the quote and the work was arranged for a couple of weeks later. Jamie and his crew were pleasant enough but I was their last job on a hot Friday afternoon and they seemed a bit weary! I was disappointed that there was not a bit more attention to detail. Some windows were still grubby and streaky after the team finished and they did not get right into the edges. The screen cleaning was just ok. One of the guys came back to redo the windows I was not happy with but even so he still missed one that we discussed needed doing again. He said it was not possible to get rid of all the streaks etc due to mineral deposits that require a special treatment to remove, and that I should make sure to request that next time I had my windows done. That's fair enough, but I think that they should have observed that this was the case either when they were quoting the job or when they were carrying out the work the first time, so I could have had that done. Now I will have to wait until next year, but I'm sorry to say that I will probably try a different company next time.

Had a bad experienced with another company, called Window 2000 to get a quote. Jamie was extremely accommodating and managed to squeeze us in the very same day so that we could have our windows cleaned before the long weekend. They did a great job on our old windows, which were not easy to open or disassemble and went above and beyond and cleaned additional windows that were improperly cleaned by the other company we hired with no extra cost. Jamie also gave us lots of advice as to how to replace our screens and even offered to help. All that in a very competitive price. We will definitely hire this company to clean our windows again as well as to clean our eavestroughs.

We had generally sagging and clogged gutters; Jamie and Kevin were punctual, did the work neatly and well, in good time. When we had some concerns a few days later, Jamie said he would get right on it, and he did: They were back within days to do some touch ups and finishing on the eaves. That is solid -- they stand behind their work AND were not happy until we were happy! Thanks Jamie and co.

Had to get the windows cleaned because visitor was coming. They did a fabulous job, squeezed me in, even though I called really, really late and their prices are very reasonable. I also decided to have th gutters cleaned when I found out that they do that as well. They did a great job and I'll have them back every year. I ain't touchin' my own windows from now on, when the expert can do a much better job.
