I was very impressed with the entire crew from Renaissance Painters. They were very professional and did an excellent job. We have a large kitchen with pine cabinets. This presented some concerns due to the soft nature of the wood and the large number of knots on the wood. Renaissance Painters came to our home to assess the cabinetry and then painted one of the cabinet doors to we could assess the quality of the work and the colour of the paint we had chosen. They made some modifications in their technique to address the issue of the pine cabinetry and we really appreciated their attention to detail. The cabinet doors look brand new and the paint job is of very high quality. This modernized our kitchen for about 1/5 of the price we would pay for new cabinets. The cost was exactly as estimated and very reasonable for the amount of work involved. I would definitely recommend this company. 10/10

The Renaissance team came in prepared the house and got the job done quickly and on time. It was easy to communicate to the team and the quality of the workmanship was also great.

We heard about Homestars and went to the site in search of someone to paint the exterior of our house. We called Renaissance as the comments were positive, and scores were high. Jason has a strong customer focus - always getting back to us on a timely basis, and making sure everything is going well and according to plan. He promptly made arrangements to have Vaso come over to quote us on the job. Vaso and his team work quickly. In particular, Nick did a fine job with the pre-work; his painting skills are excellent. We are very pleased with the outcome. It was a pleasure dealing with Renaissance!

We are very happy with the outcome of our kitchen refinishing. All the work was completed on time and it looks great. I would not hesitate to use Renaissance Painters again and would recommend the company to anyone considering doing renovations.

I was having problems with the finish on my kitchen and bathroom cabinets due to an issue with the original manufacturer. I had several quotes and although Renaissance was the highest, Jason gave me the confidence that they could repair the damage and provide me with a new finish strong enough to last. He actually took the time to try a new paint product that strengthens the finish. They excel at customer service. Jason and Vaso, who was the project lead, did a great job staying in touch and making sure it the project was done in a timely manner. My only complaint was Vaso's brothers driving skills... he killed my tulip :). All said, I am very pleased with the work.

Jason and Tony worked together as a fantastic team to give me speedy, excellent results. Jason addressed all of my needs and answered all of my questions and had Tony coming in the next day to quote. They discussed my situation, needing a 1 bedroom apartment painted with some drywall repairs, and gave specific recommendations which I took. They came the next day and I don't know how Tony finished the job in one day, exactly as quoted, high quality work. Fantastic!

I own a 2-bedroom condo with a breathtaking and totally unobstructed view of Lake Ontario. To maximize the functionality, available space, and the impact of a “million dollar” view, I decided to renovate my home. Renaissance Painters were recommended to me and after reading some of their reviews I decided to give them a call – and I am so glad I did. The reno consisted of ceiling stucco removal, a drywall removal, new electrical installations, new flooring, kitchen backsplash, and painting of the whole condo. About month and a half later, I live in a new home with a great feeling of space, harmony, personal design, character, and a “wow element” every time I enter the door. Simply amazing. Jason - the mastermind of the company, Julie - the professional interior designer, and the team of dedicated people made it happen for me. They are resourceful, honest, and very easy to work with. I am especially happy with the high quality work and materials used. Their pricing is very reasonable and they pride themselves on their final products. Job well done!

After reviewing some of the comments on Homestars, we decided to use Renaissance Painters and we were extremely happy with their service! We have used several painting companies in the past but Renaissance Painters is by far, the best company we have ever used. Jason went above and beyond good customer service. He was not only pleasant to deal with but he was always on time and precise! Joe, the painter, was absolutely the best painter ever! He took pride in his work and it showed. He was very helpful, efficient and extremely clean. I would highly recommend Renaissance Painters, I assure you that you will not be disappointed. I will definitely be using them in the future!

I am a lawyer in Toronto who recently purchased his first detached house. The GC I hired did a terrible job all over the house. Most importantly he completely screwed up the stairs in that they did not match the hardwood at all! One was red and the other brown, one was maple and the other oak, one was light and the other dark. I hired Renaissance Painters to re-finish my stairs without stripping them completely. Now that they are finished, the only part of the house I like is my staircase! The guys at Renaissance were upfront with me before the beginning of the job that they will not be able to match the stairs 100% since they were darker than the floor. It's easy to go darker, but it is hard to go lighter. But after finishing the job, the result turned out a lot better than anticipated! For a guy that's typically picky about everything, I actually like my new stairs!
