    Interior Painting and Colour Consultation

As a technical consultant who has had the pleasure of working with Renaissance Painters in maintaining their computers, and one who has virtually no knowledge in this more artistic field of painting, it was an easy decision to have Renaissance submit a proposal for my new home in Thornhill. At first I was looking for a cleaner version of the neutral colours that were existing from the previous owner. What a mistake that would have been. The colours Renaissance recommended were a surprise to me at first and I was not sure how they were going to suit me. Well, I love each and every colour and also how they flow. We ended up using Aura from Benjamin Moore: not the cheapest paint but really worth the money for a beautiful flat and very washable finish to which (my kids) and I can attest. Great price, the best paint, awesome service and an artistic edge that combined for a very satisfied client.

    interior/ exterior reno

Renaissance did some painstaking work for me, matching to one hundred year old wood finishes and bringing the existing back to life. Besides design, colour and texture guidance, they contributed to a host of work I needed for an extensive renovation by recommending and coordinating various finishing skilled trades to get the job done. Jason and his team were on time, on budget, conscientious and neat. Jayson H. in the Beaches

    interior specialized painting

Dear Jason: I thought it appropriate to take a moment to express my thanks and appreciation for the services you have completed on my behalf. Most unfortunately, we now live in a society where the standards of workmanship have reached such a low and pathetic level that it is shameful. People have come to accept low level mediocrity as the norm. As a person who appreciates fine workmanship and is a stickler for detail, all I can say is that I take great comfort in knowing that people like you, who are indeed a select few, are still available to do and make things right. When I was introduced to you about 5 years ago to have you complete faux finishing on various interior aspects of my beach house that were botched up by previous suppliers and contractors, I was mesmerized with the results and pleased with the fair pricing. To manipulate wood and stone as you did was astonishing. Accordingly. when I recently needed help in finishing fairly complex details in a few suites in my boutique condominium project, including my own unit, it was a foregone conclusion that my first call would be to you. Once again, you prevailed. Andrew was able to masterfully transform and finish wood doors without sanding and stripping. I am still at a loss as to how he could do it...but he did. The other work that he completed was equally of the highest standard. I also appreciated your kind efforts and consideration in assisting with the fairly complicated undertaking of tinting exterior reclaimed bricks to match an original 100 year old adjacent building. The result is fantastic and I understand that you in fact had an associate contractor complete the work, with no payment to you, which is unheard of nowadays. Your philosophy of "making the customer happy" is fulffilled in every respect, and I sincerly thank you again. All the best and keep up the good work..... Bill

Most rooms on our top floor

Renaissance painted the majority of our top floor. They did a quick but thorough job with very good details around the edges. They were very clean which was greatly appreciated since they had to walk through the main floor several times everyday.

Painting of walls, ceiling, and trim in main hallway, 2nd floor hallway, living/dining room, family room, master bedroom, and stair case spindles and risers. Removal of old mirrors and towel racks and plastering walls

If you have a particular colour scheme in mind, but are overwhelmed by the many colour selections available, I would highly recommend Renaissance Painters. Jason is very knowledgeable about colours and offers excellent consultation services. He was able to translate my monochromatic gray theme into beautiful shades of gray that were neither too warm or too cool. The quality of their work is excellent and they were able to complete the job quite quickly. I did experience one minor problem - after they were done, I was missing a metal bracket used to secure a small handrail to the wall. I suspect it was accidentally tossed out by the painters during their cleanup. Unfortunately, they claimed no knowledge of the bracket and left it to me to find a replacement. Luckily, the company I hired to refinish my floors offered to replace it for me free of charge. Nonetheless, I am somewhat disappointed at the lack of accountability shown by Renaissance. Even though the problem was minor, I would have appreciated if they could have offered a solution rather than leaving the problem for me to handle. Hence why I scored the company an 8 rather than a 10. Customer service and accountability is just as important to me as product quality and price. Overall though, the quality of their work was excellent and worth the price.

Living Room and Dining Room Painting

Renaissance Painters came to do a quote for me on a small job which was painting my living room and dining room and wallpapering one wall. Included was sanding and painting the trim. He spent 1 1/2 hours with me picking colours. He was a perfectionist and his quote was very reasonable. I ended up picking somebody else for other reasons but I used his colours. I think I should have picked him because I think he would have done a more detailed job. I would use him for another project.

    Kitchen Cabinetry refinishing

Renovation of Kitchen and Family Room Our home is only 14 years old and in reasonably good condition but our kitchen needed a palpable facelift. We were looking for high-quality workmanship and contemplated replacing the entire kitchen. We decided to have our existing cabinets re-painted and add some carpentry. After a search of reputable cabinet painters on the internet, we contacted Renaissance Painters. It was a fortunate choice. Jason Maloney of Renaissance Painters turned out to be a most helpful, talented, honest and amiable individual. Jason came up with a number of helpful suggestions regarding additional carpentry, compatible color schemes and paint finish on the repainted kitchen cabinets. He also suggested some minor but important renovations to the adjoining family room so it would better blend with the kitchen. Jason made time available to join us in a long search for a granite counter-top that would match the new kitchen. In addition to taking responsibility for all the painting and re-plastering work, Jason recommended a skilled carpenter, Eric Taylor, and a reliable and innovative electrician, Hassan Faraji, for potlight and electrical installations. Everything turned out spectacular!! Eric made slight changes to the kitchen counter that avoided the need to replace the backsplash to accommodate the granite top. This turned out to be a major cost saving. The quality of the painting work carried out by Gemma Duarte and her crew, was outstanding. The minor renovations Jason recommended for the adjoining family room turned out to have a spectacular effect on that room. Renaissance Painters provided the kind of upscale renovations we were looking for, and at a reasonable price for the finish we were seeking. The work was done with enthusiasm, tremendous care and personal respect, and great finish. To those who care to read this….we have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Renaissance Painters for the renovation of kitchens, or home renovations of any kind, wholeheartedly and unreservedly. Interior House Painting

The builder's beige on my walls was growing more than tired and I had wanted to change it for a while. This painting company, Renaissance Painters came to my rescue. They suggested leaving the ceilings and trim which saved me about half of the money some of the other quotes were charging. Colour is not my forte so I was relieved they were able to suggest and sample a variety of choices. I would recommend them to others, in fact, I already have.

    Interior Painting and Reno

All we wanted was a great paint job. What did we get? A fantastic team that in the end, coordinated the installation of beautiful plaster molding, potlights, and a well designed palette of colours for our home in King City. I am very meticulous and interviewed various companies before deciding on Renaissance. They came through for us and we will use them in the future.
