We hired Otto's Masonry based on the great reviews we read on Home Stars. They were professional and very responsive to all of our requests and concerns and we are very satisfied with the finished product. We hired a separate company to install railings. Our only criticism is the fact that their communication wasn't always clear. This pertains to the scope of the work and when workers would be on site. We then had to follow up to find out when they would be attending to finish the job. However, we were very impressed that the owner personally came to our home and inspected the work before and after the job was completed. This speaks to their level of service and the fact that they want to ensure that their customers are satisfied with the work. They were a pleasure to deal with and we would hire them again and recommend them to others. We have included a before photo as well as photos now that the job is complete.

The reason for this work was to demolish a 100 year old leaking/cracked chimney and replace with new one. The request was originally as a result of a leak above the fireplace on the interior of my home causing damage. The crew made me aware there was also damage done to the liner of my gas fireplace by an extremely determined squirrel and was corrected before completion of the job. The crew from Otto's Masonry were respectful to me and my property during the entire rebuild. I would highly recommend them to family and friends going forward. Excellent job gentlemen!

Damian goes above and beyond with the work that he does. He and Otto's are flexible, accommodating, and very easy to get in touch with. We were very impressed when we were told that we did not need as large of a repair to our concrete stairs as we originally thought since some companies are all about upselling. We have been very pleased with the whole experience with Otto's and look forward to working with them again.

Fast, good price and work well complying with guidelines under the permit. Would highly recommend

They Dug down at the base to remove any old bricks, put some new ones in, poured cement and parged the outside. He said he would return to caulk around the top of the parging to stop the water from leaking in

Rebuilt one chimney, repaired another chimney, repaired a very damaged porch. Highly knowledgeable and professional.

Otto's team was efficient, skilled and courteous. Beautiful work with great clean-up. Replacing and rebuilding an exterior cement stairwell - 6 full steps plus drain adjustment.

I appreciated the level of professionalism displayed by the representatives of Otto's Masonry, from the estimator who quoted the job to the bricklayer who rebuilt the wall. The job was tricky since the work site was on my neighbour's property and I was concerned about maintaining good relations with my neighbour throughout the process, from estimate to clean up.  In the end, everyone was pleased with the results.

We had an empty patch in our interlock driveway (where a shed used to be) that we needed filled and matched to the rest of the driveway. The bricks on the side of the house were disintegrating. Otto's were very prompt, thorough, and competitive with their quote. The team that did the job worked hard and professionally. The outcome was great. My only qualm was that the job was started later than expected, so they had to work twice as hard, given the snow and freezing temperatures. Nonetheless, they did a great job, and I would definitely recommend them to friends and neighbours.
