We are pleased with the final results of this poured concrete driveway. Looks really amazing. We did have a few issues which I feel were not handled well by the Design and Construction contacts. Patterned concrete puts their customers on an automated email system which advises when the various stages of construction are being completed. Of course, due to weather or other delays those dates are subject to change. However, my project started 3 days before a long weekend and the excavation was started and left incomplete for 5 days ovver the long weekend, with NO explanation, no contact except the email on the Saturday of the long weekend stating they would start the next stage after the long weekend. There was no one who followed up with me until after the long weekend and a follow up email and phone call to the office. The issue was that the interlocking brick from our pre-existing driveway was piled high and spread out on the driveway, creating a huge tripping hazard and no access to the front door of the house. The customer service when I emailed and called to discuss the matter was non-existent. Literally no one explained why the dump truck did not remove everything the week prior and there was not one person that apologized for the mess and safety issue. There was another issue after pouring when we could not access our house because no plank was left by the workers. Again, I emailed the construction foreman (Dino, who I never saw nor spoke to in person) and he was unresponsive. I again called the office and spoke to Susy to discuss the issues and she was not interested in discussing the issues with me. However, another individual named Peter came by to pick up a check and said he was an owner. I spoke to him about the issues and he told me it was weather related delays (heat) and apologized for the poor follow up. To me, customer service should be a bigger part of the whole project and it literally was the least important part once construction had started. Product is very good thankfully, because I can't imagine what it would take to get someone to stop by the project and do any kind of follow up. Very disappointing for such a large company with which we spent so much money.

This was my first project with Patterned Concrete. They executed the work to my satisfaction. The entire staff was courteous and professional. The communication was at its best. I would not hesitate to hire them again for additional work.

Well organised construction. Every crew that arrived was polite and professional always accommodating. The end result is beautiful and I have already had 3 friends wanting to use Pattern concrete. Definitely recommend Great Job keep it up. Not sure my photography does any justice :)

We got stamped concrete job on the front entrance of the house all the way to the backyard and driveway. After considerable deliberation and checking out the work done by all the shortlisted contractors, we finalized Patterned Concrete Mississauga Inc., and that was the right decision to make. They are so professional and structured in their approach and execution of work. They're the only company that came up with a visual representation of what could be done with the place. Basically they gave us 3 design options to choose from and fine tuned the selected design based on our specific requirement. The job was started on time and completed on time. The quality of workmanship is as good as it can get and they back it up with a 5 year warranty (all others offer a 1 year warranty). It was a pleasure dealing with their staff and Susy at the office has always been very proactive and prompt in responding to all of our queries from time to time. We are completely satisfied with the Patterned Concrete and thoroughly recommend their services. I've given them 4 stars as I believe there is always scope to improve perfection! 100% Satisfaction guaranteed.

After a lot of research we finalized Patterned Concrete Mississauga Inc., to carry out the driveway and entrance job at my place. To start with, they were the most professional company in my research (had 6 others give me an estimate). They provided me with proper one-to-one consultation at their office and followed it up with 3 design options to choose the base format. I got the one I found most suitable and sat with the consultant to make some changes based on my preference and their valuable inputs. They gave me a schedule for the job and followed the scheduled without any delays/rescheduling, which in itself is commendable in the home improvement business. In my experience, no one seems to bother to stick with the schedules in this line of work. I'd say, if concrete work is your net home improvement project, go with the professionals, just call the guys at Patterned Concrete Mississauga Inc. By the way, they're the only ones offering a 5 year warranty, while the others are just 1 year and I'm sure nothing usually goes wrong in a year. A special word of thanks to Susy Pedro for being absolutely proactive and helpful at all times.

We recently purchased a home and the previous owners had used patterned concrete for their patios. Looking to enlarge the space we contacted PC and they came out without delay to measure and help us understand how we integrate the new patio seamlessly into the existing. The results are outstanding and we are thrilled. PC has a very organized way of letting you know what will happen at every stage of the project - there is an email sent every night letting you know what to expect the next day, which gives you a sense of comfort as a homeowner. They were also always available to answer any questions and their response times for any inquiries was fantastic. In the end out project turned out fantastic and even though there is an 8 year age difference between the old and the new you would never know! I would highly recommend patterned concrete!!!

Overall Experience: Overall I am very happy with this company. They were referred by our contractor. Pattern Concrete is very professional, efficient, patient and had the job done during the timeline they promised. They have a very clear schedule for the work that will be done, amount of time it takesand will constantly remind us what to expect during each construction process. Different people handles different stage of construction and I had great experience with all of them. We hired Pattern concrete last year and they finished work in August 2017. I wanted to wait until now to write the review so that I can comment before, during and after the job is done. After our first winter, the lip of our step cracked, emailed Patterned concrete and they responded very quickly. They said they will come back in July and they really did and fixed the area where they are able to. Services which I am not happy with: There were parts of the service that I wasn't too happy with: 1. during the design process, My husband and I made it very specific and clear that on one side of our property, we do not want any step from our front yard leading to our backyard, if required, it has to be sloped, but absolutely no step at all. If this is not an option, we will not be getting this work done. This is very important to us. When we sign off the sketch, we noticed that our very important request wasn't stated on the sketch and we asked for it to be stated. however, we were told there will be no step for sure and is not necessary to mention it. We did went back and forth trying to put this in writing, and during this conversation, reaction we received by the person who helped us was like we were being unreasonable trying to put it in writing when the step will not happen at all. So at the end we trusted the person who helped us that it's not necessary and left it as is as we do not want to look crazy. When patterned concrete installed the wood formwork, we noticed something was weird and looks like one steps will be installed in the area where we absolutely DO NOT want and UNABLE to accept. We raised this issue with the project manager and he told us that it should have been stated. Although Pattern Concrete didn't admit it's their fought and honestly, will be hard for the PM to believe us, (I am not saying the PM does not believe us, but just saying it is hard to believe) he remained very professional, and was helpful in figuring out a solution. We ended up paying a few hundred extra for this change but we were fine as we don't want to create a big fuss on it. If we had insisted that it's written on the sketch and did not believe in the person who said there is no way that there will be sketch, then this problem will be avoided. Note that we still had to deal with this person who helped us with the sketch but overall, she didn't show any issue with us and still responded very quickly and professionally with all our questions. So why I am giving a 10 star even with this problem? I look at it with how the company handles our problem, if they will help, if it can be resolved and they way they reacted. At the end, if we have insisted, this will not be a problem. so it's also a lesson for us. 2. Minor design detail, not the company's fought, but something for all of you to pay attention. We didn't pay attention to square edge or curved edge. After the who construction is finished, one part of our concrete is squared vs every other part is curved. So it's a little of an eye sore for me, although the concrete did look exactly how it was drawn, we didn't realized this edge and square issue until we see the actual finishes. So if you are very particular on this, you should make sure you pay attention to this detail. I also believe it's hard for patterned concrete to point this out because she may not have noticed or may think this is how we wanted it. 3. Cleaning up. I wasn't too happy with one of the member in the cleaning crew. They came and had the power wash clean up done. They were supposed to have all garbage removed and it was a 2 day job. However, there was one day that only 1 man was here cleaning and he just throw most of the concrete left over and rocks, dirts on the side of our house where we had to have set back and are pending for more work to be done by our contractor. So I had to email the PM regarding this. Good that he responded very quickly again and had the cleaning crew came back to pick up all the left over garage for us. Again, we are happy that Patterned concreted did work on our concerns and fixed things that we are unhappy with. 4. This is very minor. After construction, I noticed 2 "Patterned concrete" logo was stamped at the front area of our driveway. Although the logo doesn't look bad, but I didn't like it because I wasn't aware that I will have 2 of their logo permanently stamped on our driveway. I am not sure if it was stated on the contract but would actually appreciates if we were warned. I am still giving a 10 star because as soon as I raised my concerns, they helped fixed it. I think there are always things that people will not be happy with but considering how they handled the situation, I will for sure recommend them to all the people I know. We will definitely hire them again in the future if we do ever move.

Patterned concrete did a great job on our front porch, steps and curbs. Every step of the way everyone was very professional and kept us informed about the next step.... and they always showed up! All trades very proud of their work, good guys. This was a re-do of concrete from a different contractor, these guys do it right. Should have gone with Patterned concrete the first time. Very well organized, crews arrived on time with advance notice emails prior to next days scheduled work. Susy was instrumental in detailing each step of every process and responded to any questions during the excavation and installation of our concrete. Never did meet or hear from site supervisor they we were told was our go to person...We have had some hairline cracking since completion, which was disappointing to say the least, however Luca from service has been keeping in touch so far and the repairs are almost invisible.

We previously had a stamped concrete backyard patio that was made very poorly and as a consequence was shifting, cracking and breaking. PC removed the old one and helped us design a new one. All the crews that came in (forming, prepping, pouring, cleaning and sealing) were efficient and relatively clean. The whole process took about three weeks and we are very happy with the final product.
