    Brad solved our problem immediately

    Brad diagnosed our garage door operation issue over the phone. Turns out the LED lightbulbs were interfering with the garage door frequency. So grateful.

    Garage Doors - Springs

    One of 2 garage door springs broke on a Friday afternoon. I talked to a representative on Saturday morning, and Brad (technician) was here Monday morning to do the job. But I wanted both door springs replaced. Brad was very polite and very efficient. Both springs were changed in under an hour. He also lubriceated the wheels and hinges. Very grateful and happy to have Hamilton Door Systems do our repairs!

    Great Service

    I have used Hamilton Door Systems for 3 different services over the past 17 years. Always pleasant, efficient and on time. Never try to sell you something that you don't need, rather try and fix what you have first. One of the few companies that seems to do this. Would recommend them highly.

    Change springs on garage door

    Pricing was good .. technician was polite and knowledgeable.. I would recommend them 2 this up..

    Quick Response. Fast service

    Arrived home from vacation to discover garage door did not work. Called in and Joe arrived in 5 minutes. Fixed the door and had it done in 15 minutes. Great friendly service

    Quick fix for broken garage door spring

    I was on my way to pick up my kid from daycare when I discovered the garage door wouldn't open. I called Hamilton Door Systems as I have used them before and over the phone they were able to diagnose the problem as a broken spring. Although they weren't able to come that day (it was already the end of the day) they were able to schedule their technician for the next day. The technician arrived on time, and quickly replaced the spring and got the door working again. I was very happy with the prompt service and would definitely recommend them to anybody facing a similar problem.

    Garage Door Not Closing

    From first contact with this company until the Serviceman left our home, this transaction was excellent. The Receptionist who took our phone call helped us to try a few things before determining that a service call (for a fee) would be needed. She communicated well and informed us of the range of possibilities for the repair - giving us costs for each option. Joe was our service person. He arrived on time and reminded us of minimum cost for a service call. He tested out every possible cause of our problem and concluded that although the door opener was 24 years old, it still had life left for now. He examined the unit and all the moving parts of the mechanism lubricating the workings of the entire system. He got the door to open and close smoothly and tested this several times before he left. We are now educated about what the cost will be in future when we need to replace the unit but for now, the Service Call Fee was all we were charged. We highly recommend HDS and will use them again in future.

    Follow up

    I had Hamilton Door system replace my door three years ago and they were fantastic, from the quote right through to the finished project. I went there today with my neighbour who wanted to match the paint colour of mine. Terry was so helpful and provided such helpful information to both of us. We did not purchase anything, yet she went out of her way to help us. This is a wonderful company that I would highly recommend Thank you Terry!

    Fantastic Service & Great Work

    I just moved into a new home and the garage door wouldn't open I called HDS and the very next day Cody showed up to help me. He was friendly, polite and courteous, he quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it within minutes which he followed with a 10 point maintenance check and lubrication. This company and Cody deserve 10/10 for service quality and value for money - highly recommend them.

    garage door replacement

    replaced garage door on sept 19, 2019. Door was making awkward sounds when closing. Called in 19 days after warranty expired (1 Year). explained that we had serious family medical issues (covid related) and were unable to call earlier eventhough the door was malfunctioning for over 2 months. Response was surprising. Someone told us that the service person was great, that the person we talked to was polite and respectful and unfortunately we were past warranty term. Nothing they can do, except charge us the service fee. I say 'someone' because the person who replied to our email did not provide a name? interesting for a family owned business. So sad! I will never use this company again and will spread our experience with others.

    Sorry,I do believe Mr.Cherubini there is some confusion after reviewing your phone call you placed Sat Oct 3. Brad it is clear introduced himself when you called. Their was no mention of medical issues or anything of the sort in this phone call. We are sorry we did not give you a free service call, but Brad did try to help you over the phone in recommendations on how to fix the noise issue. You did say you would try this first. Brad was taken back on your e-mail content on Monday morning though.(your signed contract attached to this file ) What is surprising, is that you are choosing to go after a small business in these trying times knowing that it is past your warranty period. Sorry for any inconvenience.
