Look forward to working with Darwin again soon. Bond Contracting installed plumbing and a sink into our garage so we could wash the dog. Darwin gave a detailed quote before the work started and his final invoice came in at that same number. He did exactly what he said he would do and how long it would take. I have full confidence in Darwin and his team. We met with several other contractors and none offered the level of comfort (that he knew what he was doing) along with a competitive price. Like I said, looking forward to working with Darwin again soon!

We contracted Darwin and his crew to undertake our biggest reno to date. We had a full basement development that included adding a bedroom, full bathroom, mechanical room and rec room with storage closets. Three words to describe all the tradespeople that showed up would be professional, punctual and very personable. We had several questions during the construction and we sometimes emailed Darwin daily and very early in the morning. Despite the early hour Darwin always replied promptly and was very patient and took care of any concerns. Darwin and his crew surpassed our expectations at every turn and we are thrilled with the results. From day one to the furnace cleaning on the final day this experience was the smoothest and most trouble -free renovation we have had completed. They even finished a few days early!! A shout out to the crew that we met along the way: Wayne, Steven, Chris, Devan, Luc, Julie, Spencer and Elmer. Also a pat on the back to the awesome sub contractors, Bill the drywaller, Mike the electrician, Dillon the painter and Randy & his helper from North West Furnace and Duct cleaning! We hired Bond Construction to complete our basement and we could not be happier with the results, staff, and quality. After obtaining several quotes, we hired Darwin to renovate our master bathroom. This was a major job, requiring demolition to the studs. We found Darwin and his crew to start on time, provide a dedicated crew to our project, address our concerns and regularly update us regarding progress and costs. Our project came in right on budget and at the estimated time. We absolutely love the finished product and will definitely use this company again for the next project!

We contacted several contractors for our basement renovation project. This project was turning a 1970's bar in a walk-out basement into a suite with a shower. Several contractors turned down the project for various reasons, but Darwin expressed genuine concern for our budget and needs in our renovation. He consistently communicated with us throughout the project and let us know when there were options to upgrade or stay with the originally quoted prices. All of his employees were excellent to work with and they were all responsive to our requests and concerns. They finished the project as close to the estimated completion date as possible. Asbestos was found so that threw off the completion date by a week and budget by $6000 for proper removal. The only thing that I would have liked to have seen done is a bit more attention to the finishing details like pencil marks on walls, flooring and edging cuts were a bit off and some overspray from painting. Overall, we were very satisfied with the job that was done and have been using the space for the past 8 months and love it.

We recently had our basement renovated and are very happy with the entire process. Darwin was always prompt with his responses to our questions and the invoice was updated frequently to reflect changes in our selections so there were no surprises when the project was complete. His team was professional from start to finish. We hired a different contractor to do a small bathroom reno last year and when comparing the previous contractor's work with Darwin's, the difference in the details and quality can be seen with Darwin's team's work. We have already recommended Darwin to our friends.

Bond Contracting & Construction was a pleasure to do business with. We are a young couple that wanted to replace our bathtub, bathtub door, faucet and shower head, and tile the wall surrounding the tub. I got five quotes and Darwin was the only one that showed actual concern for my budget, and provided suggestions to help me stay within it. He showed up on time and as promised. This was a huge difference compared to the other contractors (all of which are highly rated on this website) that showed up for estimates and treated us as if our half-bathroom reno wasn't worth their time. We live in a small condo with only one bathroom. Darwin's team worked full, consecutive days on our project in order to get it done in time. This greatly minimized the inconvenience to us. Darwin's team are professional, trustworthy, and reliable. I had no concerns leaving them the keys to my unoccupied home. The few small touch-up items I found were corrected the following morning with no hassle. You can tell Bond Construction doesn't forget about you as soon as they cash your final cheque. I look forward to working with Darwin's team in the future, and would recommend them to anyone.

After the 2013 flood downgraded our fixer-upper into a “previously flooded fixer-upper”, we lived with an unfinished (and uninsulated!) basement for close to two years. This spring however, Darwin and Bond Construction came to our rescue and transformed our disaster zone into a beautiful, functional, fully finished basement. Darwin was a pleasure to work with from day one and somehow managed to accommodate each and every one of our many requests. From last minute requests like tiling an entrance way and painting a small bathroom, to larger projects like installing a wet bar in the exact location I was set on (regardless of plumbing challenges), Darwin and his crew did it all beautifully and did it within an 8-week timeframe as originally promised. We would recommend Bond Contracting and Construction to friends and relatives without any hesitation and certainly plan on using them again for our next project. Thanks Darwin!

We recently hired Bond Construction to develop our unfinished basement. The entire process, from start to finish, was seamless. Darwin and his entire crew were not only professional and courteous but they were respectful of our home during the construction process. Darwin kept us constantly updated on the status of the project and promptly responded to any questions or comments that arose. The basement development was completed within the estimated time frame and the final cost was very close to the initial quote we were provided. Any additional costs that we incurred were a result of different finishings that we selected. We were extremely satisfied with the project and project management from the initial stages of development to completion. The final product far exceeded our expectations. We would, without hesitation, recommend Bond Construction to anyone looking to have their basement developed.

It is almost as if Darwin and Bond Construction were sent from Heaven to transform our flood beaten empty mud pit of a basement into our dream space. They completed the entire project in eight weeks and were so professional, accommodating and skilled. I would not have believed that a Contracter existed that could make this Reno a reality without extra costs, extended deadlines and headaches one normally associates with renovations. If you are doing a Reno, use these guys. They are incredible!
