I dealt with John Barresi from the very beginning. John explained the details about the GAF shingles and other products. He also suggested Cobra Advanced Snow Country ridge vents for which I opted. The work was done by a polite and hard working crew of five. From start to finish, including the final clean up, the work was done in three days. John and his crew members strive for customer satisfaction. I am quite pleased with my new roof and its appearance.

After reading the previous reviews, I realized they contained pretty much all the words I was going to use to describe my experience, like very pleased, timely and professional manner, polite and courteous crew, extremely impressed, very positive experience, very professional outfit, meticulous, on time, thorough cleanup. So, suffice to say that I too have been very impressed by the work done by each and every member of the team. With a bit of support from Mother Nature, they started the job exactly when they said they would and even finished it a bit earlier than expected. I can only hope that the company will still be going strong in a couple of decades when my roof will start showing its age again. Hats off, guys!

I am very pleased with the roofing project performed by Century Roofing & Siding. The work consisted of removing the old shingles and underlay – then installing new GAF shingles, along with accompanying underlayment, ice guards, flashing, roof vents, etc. As the roof on our home is quite large, I expected the job would take several days - which it did (and, of course, we had rain disturbances throughout). On the days when no rain or thunderstorms were forecast, the crew worked on the roof steadily. I always felt that our roof was their priority. Overall, the job was completed in a timely and professional manner. The job site was kept tidy and organized (I found no nails or garbage on the grounds/driveway when the project was completed). The work crew was polite and courteous. As well, I had the opportunity to meet both Anthony and John Barresi; their father started the company years earlier. Upon completion of the roof (that very same night), I found one small item that was overlooked by the foreman. Anthony arranged for the guys to come back at 7 AM the next morning to correct the oversight. The work was finished within an hour. I was extremely impressed (and appreciative) of the prompt reply and response. Based on my very positive experience, I am very comfortable in recommending Century Roofing for re-shingling projects. Equally significant, I fully expect the shingles and roofing system to outlive my lifetime (and I am close to 60). It was a job well done.

Right from the first contact with Century, when we got an estimate, it was apparent we were dealing with a very professional outfit. The estimator, Anthony Barresi, a member of the family that owns this business, climbed onto the roof, examined it carefully and did his measurements. He then calculated an estimated cost and sat down with us to explain exactly what we would get for our money. He left with us a professional package of information that explained everything in detail. As the date for the job approached, he was in frequent contact to let us know the status of his crews and their progress on the jobs in the queue before ours. They began our job when they said they would. It would be hard to find a more professional and hard-working crew than the one that replaced our roof. They were meticulous about their workmanship and did a thorough clean-up afterward. They even did a bit of caulking for me near the roof that was not strictly part of the job but would have been difficult for me to do. I know I could have got this roofing job done cheaper but I doubt I could have had it done better.

In the spring of 2011, Century Roofing removed the old shingles from my roof and installed new ones, along with new roof vents and ice shields. Their price was competitive, and their professionalism was exceptional. All information was given clearly and the workers and materials arrived on time. The clean-up was thorough and no damage was done to my garden. I highly recommend this company.
