We were facing significant issues with our leaky foundation in our 1920s home. The stone basement walls had deteriorating mortar, and the century-old concrete floor was cracking, exposing the dirt beneath and allowing water to seep in. To make matters worse, our exterior basement stairs were starting to collapse. In short, we needed professional help. Don, Damir, and their fantastic team at Acadian came to the rescue. They dug a trench around the house to coat and seal the foundation, installed weeping tiles and drains to keep the basement dry, parged all the interior walls to cover the old stone walls, removed the old floor, and poured a new concrete slab. They also recast the concrete stairs and installed a new security door for the basement. Now, we stand in our dry basement, marveling at the transformation and getting ready to tile the room. I first had some exterior brickwork done by Acadian in 2009 and was so pleased that I have engaged them several times since. They just finished my most recent job with their usual high quality work and attention to detail. I can recommend Don Duranovich and his team without hesitation and I am grateful to be able to rely on them.

Acadian Contractors replaced our roof a few months ago. Don was very prompt with getting us a quote and managed to schedule us in on a very short notice because I was quite pregnant at the time. The crew was very courteous and accommodating and cleaned up after themselves at the end of the project. It was a complicated demolition due to the deck which was in place but they were able to do it. The only nitpick was that replacing one old piece of the underroof box was not included and I had to pay a few hundred dollars extra to have that done at the end. Fantastic to work with! Will likely have them replace my deck next summer too!

Acadian Contractors built a porch for me--very congenial workers, excellent materials, a beautiful job. I would highly recommend them to anyone. neighbours passing have complemented us on the new porch.

When we moved to a new 4 story townhouse office complex, we needed the work don well and on a VERY TIGHT TIMELINE. His team dove in and got the job jod. We are once again completely satisfied.

We had minor leak in our basement from the foundation. Don came by, explained what needed to be done, when the work would commence, and how much it would cost. The work started on time, was completed on time, and the crew were very neat at the end of each day. A thorough job well done!

they fixed a leaky flat roof/3rd floor deck that required creativity, patience and hard work. Several other companies refused the job. Work was done quick, safe and beautifully. highly recommended. Ron and Don are honest and high quality people. Price was fair.

Acadian Contractors did an excellent job repairing our foundation leak, and completed it quickly before an expected huge rainstorm. The area was cleaned up extremely well and no further leaks. I would use their services anytime.

Great experience with Don, Ron & the crew at Acadian having a whole new roof put on our home. Great folks, excellent work, did what they said when they said they'd do it with no surprises or complications. All very professional. and they left the place cleaner than it was before they came when they were done. Great company. Gave them a call and Ron came over about 2 hours later and i had a quote the next day. Very professional, the job took about 1 1/2 days and they even fixed one of my gutters that was misaligned for free. and they left the place spotless.
