Big Valley gave us a professional quote and we choose them because of their track record and professionalism. They completed the work in October and we have been very happy with the results. They answered all our quesiton and came out whenever we had a concern.

We wanted a gas fireplace installed into our current wood burning fireplace. One problem we ran into was that our fireplace was too small for the new efficient gas fireplace. They were very helpful at the store. Solution found by Big Valley was an Archguard fireplace made for small fireplaces. Works wonderfully. We took the advice of the installer and put in a wall thermostat. Wow glad I did that. The installers did a great job. The trim that came with the fireplace didn't quite fit so they made a new fireplace trim in their shop - no extra charge. It looks great and we are very pleased with the fireplace. I have had them return to service and clean the fireplace periodically. Very impressed with the company. Would recommend them.

When we purchased our 30 year old home, we were not shocked to find that we needed to replace the furnace. We were shocked to find that the cold air returns and much of the system was improperly installed. We chose Big Valley because their installer was knowledgeable and was honest with us about the scope of the work that needed to be done and what it would cost. At the end of it all, we had a great Trane furnace installed, cold air returns were fixed, and several joins in the duct system were redone (like the one that ran to nowhere before, and the upstairs living room vent that was not actually connected to duct work before Big Valley came along!) Our bill reflected the estimate and there were no hidden costs. We appreciated the honest and professional service.

After struggling with a different heating contractor for 4 years after a botched heat pump installation on top of botched original duct work, we switched to Big Valley Heating. In two consulting visits and two work visits they have solved all of our original airflow and ducting issues, as well as all of the issues created by the original contractor. Both their office and field staff were professional and courteous. Their repairman (and woman) were very knowledgeable and professional. They identified the source of the problem and implemented practical solutions as well as addressing all of my questions and concerns. Our system is working significantly better than it ever has. Big Valley made the choice easy, helped the homeowner understand the different options, and installed the fireplaces in a timely manner. Alhtough there was a minor wiring glitch with one of the fireplaces the service fellow was there right away and corrected it. Over all the sale and installation went beautifully and the homeowner is very happy.
