    3 time consuming projects

    Was extremely pleased with the work preformed for me. I'd definitely contact Handyman Connection again when I need more work done. I was accommodated on short notice and as I'm selling my home it was important to get the work done quickly.

    Shlomo provided great plumbing service

    Handyman connection is my go-to for skilled and reliable home services. They sent me Shlomo, a plumber, when an outdoor pipe burst. He was fantastic, provided us with sound advice, ensured we got supplies at a reasonable cost, and did great work as quickly as possible. If you need anything related to plumbing, ask for him.

    Electrical Work

    Needed a GFI replaced in the back yard with a heavy duty cover. Andrei did the work efficiently and even picked up the parts for me as I really didn't know what I was looking for. He installed a tamper free GFI as well when he heard I had a young child. He also installed two new external LED wall lights for me. Service was performed cleanly and efficiently for a fair price. I have used this service numerous times and highly recommend them.

    Replacing kitchen faucet cartridge.

    Jennifer said that they do not charge per hour, just by the job, but she will never tell you that the minimum they charge is approx $135. It takes 5 min or less to replace kitchen faucet cartridge and I payed $152.55. The BIGGEST SKAM EVER!! Shocking truly shocking! It is a shame and disgrace to take financial advantage of hard working citizens to that extend!! This handyman try to explain that thay will make more money doing construction that the service call. So, looks like this is the reason why the citizens are being ripped off to the unprecedented level!!! NEVER EVER CALL THIS COMPANY, unless you do not respect your hard earned money. Shocking truly shocking!!

    We provide a free estimate on every job. The customer always has the option to accept the price or not. We do have minimum charges for different types of services. No work is done until the customer accepts the price. In this case, that is exactly what happened. Our plumber arrived at the customer's home and, before doing any work, presented the price to the customer. The customer accepted the price, the work was completed, and the customer was asked to pay the agreed price. This was not an emergency plumbing call and the customer was free to call another plumber. Had the customer chosen not to accept our price there would have been no charge. Estimates are always free.

    Bathroom repair

    Rob the plumber was excellent. He gave me all the pros and cons of the choices I had to make, then went ahead and performed the work for the choice I made. He made sure to show me the various steps so I would understand what was being done and did the work quickly. I am very impressed.

    No job too small and done right!

    I recently had tile work done by a professional who did not finish the job to my satisfaction, i.e. he did not seal the grout on the backsplash so it was cracked all around and he did a lousy job of installing the stair nosing on the floor tile. Someone had recommended Handyman Connection to me so I thought I would try them. My first question was "is any job too small?" and the answer was an emphatic "no!" Michael came to my house exactly on time to assess the jobs and a few days later I was given a quote. He came back to do the work the following week and he was punctual, polite, professional and did a great job. It was such a good feeling to be satisfied with someone's work, and to know that good and competent people who care are out there. Thank you so much Michael! I would definitely recommend you to anyone! A thank you as well to Jennifer in the office who always responded promptly to my emails. I was very happy all around with Handyman Connection.

    Installation of a 33" Vanity Cabinet to replace a Pedestal in the POWDER Room

    We were in need of a craftsman to install a vanity cabinet in the POWDER room. The project was complex because there was a wall moulding that we had in mind to keep and didn't know how to install the countertop and the vanity with a backsplash under the moulding. Also holes were needed into the vanity's floor and its shelf for the drain coming from the washroom's floor. (Of course there was also the hole needed for the sink) We went through three different craftsmen and never did we feel abandon by the Handyman. An accident happen to the first craftsman and the second one was not very interested. That did not stop the Handyman to follow-up with another craftsman. This one call himself a carpenter and a problem solver. What he accomplished was nothing less than perfect - replaces a portion of the moulding by the backsplash, cuts the countertop and places it under the backsplash . The pedestal with the old sink have been removed from the place. To install the vanity, holes had to be drilled into the floor of the cabinet because the drain and the other pipes were coming from the basement. The countertop has been cut first to fit the cabinet and then the sink thereafter. The shelf in the cabinet has been cut to allow for the drain coming from the floor to go through it. The wall moulding (under the mirror) has been removed and replaced by the backsplash with the countertop going under it The sink has been centered under the mirror and the light fixture. The drain for the sink and pipes for the tap have been connected.

He will be fine eventually but is out of commission for awhile, which is why we had to find someone else for your project.     Plumbing issue

    This is the 4th time I have had Petr come to the house to fix a plumbing issue. This time my daughter decided to create some homemade slime in my bathroom sink. Needless to say she rinsed her container clogging the drain. Petr was here the next day after I called Handyman Connection and had the problem fixed very quickly. I hope I don't need Petr a 5th time, but if I do, I will be very sure I request his services.

    Replace shower head, unclock bathroom sink and adjust kitchen sink faucet

    Both my husband and I were very pleased with the work done by Doug Stubbs when he came to replace our shower head, unclog the bathroom sink and adjust the kitchen sink faucet. Anytime we need renovations or repairs done, we call Handyman Connection. They always send reliable and competent persons. Handyman Connection has a very fast and efficient service.

    Interior Doors

    Mark J at Handyman Connection Ottawa is great and I would definitely hire him again. He demonstrates perfectly what it means to take pride in your work and it shows in his projects.
