    Plumbing

    I had a leak, Shlomo came, found the source quickly and fixed the problem. Service came with a year warranty.

    Clogged kitchen sink

    John & apprentice Greg hit bases-loaded home run on this 'it's just a clogged sink' job. Clog had been building for decades due to poor pipe planning during the construction of an extension. They eliminated all possibilities, then used progressively more aggressive steps to clear the clog to the larger street-bound pipe, ever-mindful of not going too hard and possibly causing damage. Replaced corroded sink baskets, added a clear-out, and super-clean tidy-up job. 5 hours and never gave up. Obvious pride in workmanship. 11 stars.

    Install Interior Doors
    Connected with Handyman Connection to have an interior door flipped. Tony was great, did a solid estimate and performed the work on time, as promised and in an excellent fashion. Very easy and pleasant to deal with, and we are continuing to use Handyman Connection for small jobs.

    Installing Flooring in area dmaged by AC Leaking.

    I contacted Handyman Connection Ottawa to inquire about the availability of a professional, not a week-end warrior to repair, re-install a portion of the flooring that was damaged when my Air conditioner leaked, in the corner of my "sun-room. I was very impressed with the positive and help at the first telephone conversation with the reception. A craftsman, dropped by the very next day, for a discussion of the nature of the job, and a view of the area to be repaired. Julio, the craftsman, was very knowledgeable and listened to what I had to say of the origins of the issue, and what I wanted done. He then offered his expertise to fixing the problem. He also offered to pick up the flooring from the retail store. Julio arrived with the flooring on time, despite the snowstorm, and the job was completed within 5 hours. The workmanship is excellent. Once the flooring was installed and the job completed, the area about 25 square feet, it was absolutely perfect, and flowed very well with the original. Overall the excellent level of service and the quality of the workmanship, is very impressive, both Jay and Julio deserve praise and admiration, and worthy of a five, [5] star appraisal. A job well done and a very much appreciated, since I have been trying to get this flooring repaired for almost a year now. Thanks a bunch Jay and Julio. GGM

    Fix trim and latch on bedroom door that won’t close to perky.

    The latch on a bedroom door would not securely close and the cat could push it open, and if an item was placed behind the door the cat pulled away at the trim. Handyman craftsman Hesham arrived promptly, assessed the job and was able to make the repairs on the spot. He had to cut away and raise the latch mechanism and fixed the trim. He explained the repair which I greatly appreciated. He was efficient and courteous and removed any debris. And the door works perfectly and the trim is in place. I used Handyman services before and Im glad I called on them again.

    Some demo work

    Quick to respond to inquiry, work well done, fair price. Had quote before others even contacted me about job. Will definitely use them for next stages of my small renovation.

    Kitchen renovation

    Peter did a fabulous job taking down one wall, removing 4 layers of old flooring, and installing a tricky hexagon backsplash. He works extremely hard to ensure customer satisfaction and was pleasant to deal with. I highly recommend his services. His attention to detail is commendable. My kitchen reno couldnt have happened without his pre-work. It made everything go much smoother. Thanks Peter for a job well done.

    New Garage Steps

    Dealing with Handyman Connection was easy and highly professional, with e-mail updates and payment procedures ensuring there were no misunderstandings. Peter did a first-rate job constructing new steps for us, although a better job site clean-up would have been appreciated. The resulting steps are what we had asked for, a significant improvement over our old ones.

    Pocket door repair

    Tradespeople were very friendly and did good work but they need to work on timing! Early the first day (for estimate) and then said they would definitely come back later that day to complete the work. Later in the day we got a message they would be back the next morning. Again, this was rescheduled with minimum notice.

    Fast accurate and knowledgeable

    This is the second time we used this service during the last 6 months and were very pleased with the crafsman Ray's work. He arrived on time for a free estimate and we then scheduled him the following week for a few small jobs such as adding a clothes dryer air vent hood and replacing a screen door pneumatic closer. He picked up the required items at Home Depot before arriving to complete the jobs in a short time and to our satisfaction. He was also able to offer useful suggestions for future repairs. When we need work done again, we hope that Ray will be available. Thank you.
