Thank goodness we did this in the summer,This company was in and out in three days. Still trying to regulate temperatures in all rooms but getting good service to do so. Air conditioning has been wonderful addition to our home.

We moved into an older home and had massive renovations. Action Furnace replaced our 2 old furnaces and hot water tank with 2 high efficiency furnaces and hot water tanks. They were very professional, reliable, on time and cleaned up afterwards. I met with other companies for other quotes and Action Furnace was honest, competitive and professional.

Other tech diagnosed the gas valve on 2 yr old York furnace had failed. Policy is to charge diagnostic fee even if under warranty. Reason for policy, says the owner, is to avoid nuisance calls. This wasn't a nuisance call. Not willing to waive tech diagnostic fee. Turns out it wasn't warranty but needed service. I don't mind paying for service, and if it was warranty they still would have charged me. Tech was great, customer service is not. Why so much hassle over $49? Was not a pleasant way to spend my day, freezing cold and arguing with owner over fairness of policy. Could have been avoided all either of us had to say was "if warranty problem, no service charge." Oh well.

They were fast to contact me through their emergency email system, and set up a time to install a new hot water tank. I was not able to get through on their phone system to provide them with the information they requested, so used their emergency email system. I took the day off work. No one showed up, no one returned my messages. After several messages, I was called. They had not checked their messages. The next date they could offer was four days later, requiring me to take another day off work. Not impressed. A waste of my time.

After receiving many flyers for duct cleaning, I chose to use Action Furnace. They were very professional and courteous. Have used them for two years. The service tech advised that we had some Code issues. We also had a brand new in the box aircon unit that we needed installed. After getting 3 separate estimates that were within dollars of each other, we chose Action Furnace. Dan Phung, a comfort advisor came out to do our estimate. He was very professional! Action furnace turned out to be the one stop shop, so to speak. They took care of everything from furnace to parts to permits. Impressive! Thanks to all who took part in our service! Have highly recommended them to others!

During the heat wave we had, I saw a flyer from Action Furnace and thought..mmm, I will probably be charged double and it'll take a month to get an install date. I e-mailed for a quote. Within the hour Gayla from Action Furnace replied and sent out Ryan their sales manager. Couldn't have dealt with a more professional and easy going person. (He might need to work on his golf game though). He said there is no way Action Furnace will ever up sell due to weather and the wait list (the day of the quote it was about 32 C) would be 12 days. Once I received the quote (NOPE, NO UPSALE) I said, let’s go with it. He mentioned to me being put on a wait list. Within 1 day, Ryan called and asked if the next day would be ok to put in the AC. The installers, Jed and Adam, introduced themselves and got started. These guys were fantastic. Any question I had they answered, they were done within 4 hours, gave me the tour on how to work it and what to expect for winterizing. I would recommend Action Furnace. From start to finish all the people I dealt with were fantastic. Glad I could wear my toque in my very cold house. It even kept my beers cold. Thanks guys

Our old water tank was leaking and had to be replaced. We searched in the Internet and found Action Furnace. On June 4, 2012, 2 gentlemen came and replaced our old water tank in 1 hour and 10 minutes. They did all the clean up and removed the old tank without even 1 drop of rusty water on the carpet. They charged me $719 + GST. Several years ago, I paid over $900 for another tank. I was very happy with them and would recommend them to anyone.

After buying a coupon online for duct cleaning at a discounted rate with Action Furnace, I called them to make a booking. The staff was very friendly despiteI having a coupon for their services. After informing her that I was expecting and wanted to get this done prior to the new baby arriving, she did everything in her power to accommodate us since they were so busy due to the coupon promotion. Unfortunately, it didn't go as planned and the baby arrived a week before the cleaning. When the cleaner came (I think his name was Jeff), he was very professional and helpful. He asked to see the furnace and unknowingly, we had a lot of stored items around the area since we had just moved in not long ago but they were obstructing what he needed to access. This didnt bother him at all, he even helped my husband move things out of the way. Once that was completed, we asked how long it would take because we had 2 toddlers and a baby and needed to ensure they were out of his way. He took one look at us with the infant and told us that we should probably leave the house while he does the cleaning in case the particles in the air were to come up and get into the newborn's lungs since he is brand new and if it were his baby he would do that. We were so thankful for his advice. I asked if he would mind giving us 15 min to get the kids dressed and loaded into the car and still as patient and friendly as ever, he said sure. By ths time, it was already way passed our scheduled appt time AND we asked him last minute before leaving if they installed humidifiers and he took the time to explain which one might be best for us and the house. I thought I would have to book another appt to get the install but he said he could do it all today and would call us once everything was complete so we could head back home. WOW, such great service! He cleaned the ducts, installed the humidifier, helped move things out of the way in our storage area, taught us how to maintain the humidifier and protected our children from possibly getting sick. I would do business with them over and over again and recommend them to others.

Not the best experience. After installment I was without a working furnace for a week as they had to wait for a part to fix my brand new furnace. Caused damage during installing to walls. Everything got fixed and cleaning was reimbursed but we had to stay on top of things to get it all done.... very long process, I would try someone else.

They did a pretty good job with the install. The furnace works great, and have had no problems with it. They had to add an exhaust to the roof, but it seems that they didn't quite get it totally sealed as I have since found that there is a leak in the roof now where they cut the hole. All-in-all, not bad.
