Our townhouse was sorely in need of a complete windows, door, and patio doors update from its original late 1970's version. We had heard positive comments about quality, workmanship, and professionalism from others who had undertaken similar projects with Lux Windows and Glass Ltd.
From our initial meeting with salesperson Doug at Lux Windows, we were afforded with considerable professionalism. Not only did he show and suggest various options for our consideration, he actually listened to our needs, wishes, and desires and did his utmost to help us accommodate them.
As a result, we placed our order late March 2015 and early April Sergo arrived on behalf of Lux to make the appropriate required measurements. Sergo was very thorough with his measurements and included us in the process when and wherever possible. When asked about the length of time for installation to be complete, he quickly informed us that it would take between 3 to 4 days (likely 4).
in late May 2015, Sergo and assistant arrived at our residence to complete installation of our windows, door, and patio doors. Sergo had informed us prior as to the days and times he would arrive to begin the installation. We actually scheduled our days around the timeline he provided us and, as a result, his timetable and ours fit together and complemented each other very well. Sergo and his assistant went about their work in a very timely, punctual, personable, and professional manner the entire duration of the project. As he had suggested prior, our project did require 4 full days of work to complete. Routinely at the end of each day's work, Sergo and his assistant very methodically and thoroughly cleaned up both inside and out. At the conclusion of our project on day 4, we were given the invoice and warranty documents. As we had been informed at the beginning of our project, we gave Lux/Sergo a cheque with total payment for our project.
With an undertaking as large as this, there was bound to be some minor damage incurred with the movement of large windows and doors throughout the residence as well as some minor alterations needing to be made in the existing structure to properly accommodate the installation of the new windows and doors.
Lux Windows & Glass provided us high quality products complete with expert professional installation by installers who were very personable and conscious of minute details to enhance the installation. Shortly after the completion of our project, Lux's professionalism shone through once again as Lux contacted us to hear our thoughts about the product we purchased and its installation.
We have already noticed and felt many positives with the installation we had done ... Compared to the windows and doors we originally had, there is a considerable decrease in noise abatement (basically the outside stays exactly that ... the outside) as well as the interior temperature of our residence has been much more even and consistent throughout. It is rather pleasant that the interior temperature of our residence is now no longer dependent upon or affected by the exterior temperature. Another feature we truly love is that all of our windows now open widely (basically at right angles); whereas, our previous windows barely opened.
We are extremely pleased with our Lux Windows & Glass experience in terms of sales, quality product and installation, and customer service! What we paid is most definitely commensurate with the professionalism, service, and quality we received from Lux Windows & Glass. As a result, we most definitely recommend Lux Windows to anyone contemplating undertaking window and door replacements in their residence.
