    Repair roof damage due to hail

    Very efficient and responsive. Work was completed as communicated. We were pleased with the result.

    Roof shingle replacement

    Remove existing shingles, supply and install, replace flashing. Colour chosen is IKO dual black- love it. Easy email quote process and regular contact with Ken. Shingles showed up in two days after agreeing on colour. Two guys arrived the following day. Both skilled- one guy has 16 yrs experience. Pleasant, easy to deal with and very competent. Not a single issue with the roof. 2.5 days and they were gone, everything cleaned and back to normal. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

    Insurance claim

    Shingle replacement, siding repair, awesome work, friendly, clean and professional, attention to details, on time and on budget, would definitely use them again

    Shingles on roof

    Clean, attractive, efficient are words if use to describe their work. The yard was left very clean when the work was done.

    Roofing with asphalt shingles

    I had used century roofing years before and was satisfied so when It came time to re-roof my current home I thought of them. They were quick to start but slow to complete the job, the workers were messy and ruined a bush and broke patio stones. Our driveway was blocked with 2 large bins for 6 days, bins picked up on different days, there was no room to even walk around them. They said they would be back to finish the next day and they never came back. We had nails everywhere, on the ground, nails stuck behind my eaves troughs and in my tire. I emailed my contact Andrew to follow up with me on a few questions and concerns, and was willing to pay them to do extra work (change the fascia color under our windows) but they never followed up. They mailed out an invoice 3 months later and at that time I mentioned to them that the workers never came back to complete the job and no-one has returned my inquiries. They were apologetic and said they would come out to address my issues. I asked for an inspection upon completion and I got one with the wrong address and name. They did finally finish the roof and address my concerns and gave me a proper inspection sheet with the right address and name and the warranty. But it has been a long 6 months with a lot of frustration and I honestly wish I had never gone ahead with the job using century roofing.

    I am truly sorry you feel this way about us, I know a few things did not go right, being a shake conversion our dump trailers are not big enough to handle the debris,so we rely on a bin company, they try to work under our schedule but some times are conflicting which we have no control.,the bins are removed with out us knowing which leaves nails behind which we try to get back to clean up.The flashing at the window you say was not put on, as it is there and we can get a picture of that to you. as far as nails in the tires , I think replacing your full set of tires were more than fair with out any evidence that the nails were ours. To write off the GST, just means we have to pay it twice and we did give a gift card for your troubles. We do take pride in our work and work towards customer satisfaction with every job.

    re-roofing

    We had three quotes done for re-roofing our home. Century’s quote was not just the lowest, but even more so our interaction with them gave us the best impression of all the three contractors. Once we agreed on the options and type of roof the workers started within a week. They worked very hard and did a great job. After the first heavy downpour we noticed a small leak near the skylight. Century sent their worker the very next day to fix it and we had no further problems since then. Overall we are very pleased with the work done and our choice of Century Roofing.

    Roofing replacement estimate

    I asked Century to do the roofing estimate. Rick at Century came and got the estimate done. I was impressed with his knowledge and experience given he has 20+ years working in this field. I would recommend anyone interested in getting their roof done should consider hiring a trusted roof estimator, like Rick.

    Reroofing

    Only time will tell whether our roof was properly installed, but the main concern I should alert others to is a) the amount of time it will take and b) the condition of your property while the work is done. We had to have our roof redone because of wind damage, and Century is one of the approved roofers by our insurance company, State Farm. The estimator was polite and professional, but I think we didn't quite understand the implications of their "strip and reroof the same day" policy. Only one panel per day was done. The roofers arrived at 6:30 a.m. (a bit early to be banging around) and never stayed past 2:30; usually they were gone by noon. Some days, they showed up only to leave an hour or so later. Other days, in perfectly fine weather, they did not show up at all. Once they started (and the shingle pallets lay on our grass for over a week beforehand), allowing for a couple of days of rain, it took over three weeks for our roof to be redone, and for the whole time, on all sides of the property, there was all manner of roofing equipment. When they were finally finished, there remained the infernal strips of clear plastic that blew freely over our property and into our neighbours'. A lot of reroofing was done in our neighbourhood because of damage from the same November windstorm, and we didn't see any other roofers with quite such a slapdash method. If you use Century, be prepared for a bit of a haul.

    cladding and roof repairs

    This company is a joke it has been 3 years still waitng for them to finish. I would not let them put a roof on a doghouse if they offered to do it for free. My dog would die of exposure waiting for them to finish. There is zero customer service and everytime you call to find out when they plan on completing a job. They always sound like they thought it was complete. Horrible Horrible company I would hire kids in high school and you would get more results....
