    attic insulation

    Ice dam over front door,very dangerous for people coming to our front door. Hopefully adding this insulation will solve our problem. The job was done efficiently and the crew was very pleasant.

    Garage Ceiling Finally Insulated Right!

    It's December and we booked sprayfoam to finally deal with the cold bedroom over the double garage. A competitor was able to book us a few weeks earlier so we went with them. It was cold and getting colder. The day before the install, the drywall and insulation had to be removed. Done! This revealed all the gaps and explained why we had been leaking energy for 17 years. But, the next day, the other guys had a truck issue and offered to rebook us two more days later.......with temps of minus 14 and minus 17 in the forecast and no insulation in 450 sq feet of my house! I told them they needed to do better but they had no urgency. My furnace was running constantly. I called Alex at Great Northern and asked if they could possibly come. The next morning I got a call, wow, they had a cancellation and came that afternoon, at minus 9 degrees, they saved us from the minus 21 wind chill that night. With satisfaction I got to cancel the competitor! Tyrone and Adam did a fantastic job! They also sympathized and said if their truck had a problem, they would have come after hours to sort this out and not leave us in that predicament! Thank you Great Northern! That is how it’s done! Word to the wise, book your improvements in the spring or fall if you can and just call GNI. Their quote was better than Insta too.

    Home renovations

    We needed our vaulted ceiling spray foamed and this company was recommended by family. The price quoted was very fair and included no surprises. Job was professionally done by very friendly workers and all went smoothly with no problems. Highly recommended!

    Shop attic insulation

    We found them to be quite knowledgeable about their product and were able to help us get the right insulation we required. They arrived on schedule, were friendly and very professional. They did a great job of cleaning up when they were finished. Would recommend their service

    GNI ...

    We used GNI to insulate and winterize a lakefront cottage. Work was good and the installer pleaseant and helpful. I would recommend them to others. Excellent to deal with and straight up and fair.

    Attic

    Great job in and out very clean boots off vacuum through closet and garage . Very polite guys Tom & Brian Barrie branch . The hole process takes about 3 1/2 4 hours Jody done right .

    Attic Insulation

    Needed to increase insulation in the attic for better efficiency. Quote was good, job was great. Good circulation ensured and workers left the space very clean. Covered the beds and my daughter's crib. Wouldn't have known they were there!

    attic top up

    I did some research on the web for companies to top up attic insulation. The house is 25 years old with an R value of 28. New home codes require R 50-60. Couple rooms were also drafty especially my bedroom ensuite. Alana was my saleslady. Gave me an estimate and what work was to be required. Got a call from Nick to schedule an appt. The workers Derek and Nick came in,they were careful with the equipment and took all precautions as not to cause any damage to my home. They did the work and cleaned up very nicely. Professional service all around. More than happy and would not hesitate to recommend GNI to friends and family.

    They arrived right on time as told and the guys did a good job and left the place clean when done .I would recommend them to anyone that needed spray foam done.

    Attic Insulation Top Up

    My home builder arranged for this company to top up attic insulation that had been disturbed by winds during final construction. GNI had to reschedule our original install date, however Tom and Brian from the Barrie branch were friendly, answered all of my questions and seemed to do a good job.
