Garage Spray Foam Insulaton
We're quite happy with the service provided by this company. Our main bedroom and ensuite above the garage was quite cold during winter and we actually could feel air draft in our bedroom. I took upon myself to remove the original garage insulation manually and during the process I found evidence of shoddy home construction. For example, we had an opening almost a metre long under our ensuite Jacuzzi, with just spray foam covering this hole, with nothing else holding it together. Northern Insulation spray foam job improved our comfort level by 100% and the wind draft is totally gone. For the first time in 10 years we felt comfortable in our bedroom and ensuite during the winter time. Northern Insulation installers were on time and left the place clean as they found it. The installers were courteous and explained to us what was being done. We had a few issues: Electrical wire I had meticulously laid out was damaged during the excess spray foam removal. However they took responsibility for their mistake and acted to compensate me for it. So this should be a lesson for all of us installing spray foam: Make sure your wires are safely tucked inside wire conduits deep in the wall, otherwise they will get damaged when the installers shave the excess foam. Northern Insulation installer also returned to our home a couple of times to take care of a small spot I thought could have been done a little bit better and another one which was missed. I will be getting in touch with Northern when it is time to do our attic and basement insulation. Thank you to Mike van Dijk for returning my emails promptly and not hesitating in making it right. I think customers realistically don't expect perfection, however we expect contractors to take ownership and correct problems during installation and Northern has done just that.

New house insulation
From sales to installation, it has been a very positive experience. They answered all of our questions, they were very efficient, very professional, job well done! Would recommend to all.

Blown in insulation in attic
Great Northern performed this job with great professionalism and the two gentleman were very courteous. It was done in a timely manner and the sales rep was very helpful with all our questions. Well done! Thank you

Attic insulation and air leakage problem
Sales rep was very professional and suggested several alternatives. The work crew were pleasant, hard working and cleaned up after the job was complete. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others

Upgrade Attic Insulation

Attic and Crawlspace Insulation
Had an excellent one-on-one visit with the estimator. He gave us a lot of options and was very friendly. They weren't the cheapest of the three companies that we got estimates from, but were definitely the most professional and we felt right giving them our business. They were kind of busy in terms of scheduling a crew to come, and we ended up having to split up their work over two days when it could have been done in one, but otherwise no criticisms.

spray instalation in basement and blown in installation in my attic
VERY HAPPY WITH THERE SERVICE AND FRIENDLY STAFF WITH TERRIFIC RESULTS. ALSO VERY HAPPY FOR THE HELP WITH GETTING A GOVERNMENT GRANT TO HELP THIS GET DONE , THANKS A BUNCH :)

Wouldn't know they were here except my house is staying cooler and its 100 outside
I saw them at the home show and really like what they had to say. They came and gave us a quote and we booked them to come out. They came on a 38 degree day and I felt bad on how hot it was. They did such an efficient job and vacuumed and left everything cleaner than it was. Matt and Brent did a fantastic job. Thanks

Attic Insulation
Just wanted thank Great Northern Insulation and your crew of Erin and Ross who were here this morning and did an outstanding job. They answered any and all question I asked. They were very pleasant and polite as they went about their work. They cleaned up better then I would have and that's really appreciated. I have to say that this was probably a very tough job especially in this heat and in such a confined space. Again I want thank GNI for a job well done, I will definitely recommend you to anyone who asks about insulating a home.
