We used this company to replace our pine shake roof. We installed cedar shakes and this company completed the project efficiently and kept the site clean. We had to call them back for minor repairs after a wind storm, and had no difficulties with quick follow up for our service call request.

The quote was very reasonable and explained thoroughly to me at the time given. Also had grace period to bow out of contract. Contractors arrived early on the day of installationa and completed evrything in 1 day. Clean up was unbelievable - not a scrap left around. Have recommended this firm many times.

They were very knowledgeable, very efficient and did a great job. They provided me with the information I needed to make my decision, sent in skilled workers, and the job was completed to my satistaction.

I heard this company was reliable and trustworthy and at first I was quite impressed. The estimator was very professional and friendly and seemed knowledgeable enough to answer any questions. I ended up having a small leak around an electrical line and they came back to repair it. It did take quite a while for them to come back, however. All in all, I was pleased and will get them to do my house in a couple years.

They completed their job within the time frame as promised. Their pricing was reasonable. They cleaned up pretty good. I had my shingles replaced for at least 7 years now and had no issues.

I made the mistake of researching Dwights roofing at the Edmonton BBB in April 2011. Everything on the BBB site looked ok, and there was only one complaint listed from January 2010. We know you can not please everyone so we went ahead and requested an estimate. We three estimates and dwights was in the middle. We chose them and in June 2011. They installed our new roof. The third week of aug it rained for two days and our roof leaked. When we called dwights roofing we were told by Kathy Sartison that it was not their problem and it must be because of our rain gutters and downspouts. The leak was at least 15 feet from a gutter or downspouts. They refused to even come over and look at the problem. After several calls back and forth with them, we told them we will have to hire someone else to come and fix this leak. That was when I was told that if I did that they they would cancel my warranty. It tuned into a shouting match and I ended the call. I have since filed with the BBB and my complaint is the one dated 11/01/2011. I filed with the Fair trading act at service Canada. I am holding to have thief license revoked or denied at renewal time. This has also been brought forwards at the Provincial Court house in Edmonton. I urge anyone who has been ripped of by dwights to also do the same as I did. Jamie

Was happy with the service and instal. They showed up when they were supposed to and because of wind finished up what they could and let us know they would be back the next day to finished. They cleaned up well and even when they had to shut down for the day they were tidy about it.

This has been a very bad experience for us from the start. Firstly they were 6 weeks in making us wait for the new roof. Poor communication and hollow promises from the office staff. When they did show up, they were very rude. They kept peeing in my yard even though I told them they could come in to use the washroom. They did not speak english, they were either East Indian or Pakistani. The company they were from was called Sandhu Contracting. Now it is spring in Edmonton the snow is melting that is on the roof and our roof is leaking. I called Dwights roofing and the man in the office told me to get on the roof and shovel snow off. I am 74 years old and disabled. I cant shovel the snow and no one in my area has to shovel their roofs, especially on a new roof. Its bizarre the treatment we have received from Dwights Roofing Ltd. I have made a complaint to the Edmonton BBB about them but I do not hold my breath for any type of resolution. My home insurance company TD Canada Trust told me that they do not cover defects in materials or workmanship but will come out to assess the problem. There is only 2 inches of snow on my roof at most so I can rule out the weight of snow and ice causing this problem. What has caused this problem is the poor quality of craftsmanship put into the project. I see others are having the same problems with Dwights. This has made me cry. I am to old for this and to be crying. I feel very helpless right now.

I needed some new shingles, so i called dwight's and they came the next day, with a free estimate. They came back 3 weeks later and replaced all the shingles. I was very impressed with the clean up! I had a problem 6 months later and they came back and fixed it. I was very satisfied with the work done. Excellent service!
