35% re-stocking fee for return of a dishwasher that did not fit. Purchased another one from them, reduced the fee to 15% plus another fee which I paid to get my dishwasher delivered.
Upon removal of the old one and delivery of the new one that fit, another fee was added on. I have not paid this fee. Process took over 1 month as you cant talk to anyone. You have to deal with the returns department and the Customer Service departments. Phone calls are useless as they keep repeating the same thing.
For the return I had to take a picture of the box, then a picture of the labels on the box, then I had to open the dishwasher and take a picture of the serial numbers inside the door.
Process was exhausting and expensive. On a plus side they gave me the discount that whirlpool was offering on appliance.
Frustrating and an experience I never want to go through again. The sales man I dealt with never returned my calls or e-mail's.
When I did get a hold of him, nothing I can do, you have to deal with the returns department or customer service. He does continually send canned e-mails' on promotion's etc.
