    Excellent service

    We went to the new store in Barrie. We were looking for all appliances for the kitchen. We were undecided until we met Ed Szymanski. We left the store with all new appliances a great deal made very easy by Ed. Thanks for making it an easy experience.

    Purchase of electric stove

    At CAS Whitby, ON (L1R3H8) - Very pleased with the representation provided by sales associate Doug Harden, who listened to what we needed, reviewed the suggested unit in detail, described the delivery service, (which occurred the next day & included removal of old unit, all of which was competitive to say the least), & all aspects of this purchase in a clear and thorough manner. We came away knowing we had been to the right place for price & service.

    purchase of Danby upright freezer

    Mr. Doug Harden was very helpful and courteous first to my wife when she first inquired about an upright freezer, and then to me when we were finalizing the deal. Also, the delivery time is much better than any other appliance store I have dealt with in the past.

    Fridge is nice but delivery takes forever and not as promised

    We ordered a very nice fridge including a long term warranty. The price was good. However, the delivery took more than 4 weeks from the time of the sale. We asked if the delivery guys could move the old fridge, per instructions of our sales person. The movers did not want to move our old fridge. So, that was an issue. CAS responded and said they would do that for free. So, good on them! Now, something else. We have a very small kitchen. We ordered a very large fridge. It kind of takes over the whole kitchen and blocks out the light from the windows. So, we are hoping we can exchange the fridge. We are still waiting for word from CAS. FIngers crossed.

    excellent salesperson

    Ravi Kohli listened carefully to the type of dishwasher purchase I intended to make. I felt no pressure to go above my budget. I appreciated his showing me prices of the same item at other stores and online so that I felt informed and satisfied with the price I paid. The transaction was done quickly and efficiently and instructions about delivery and set up of the dishwasher were clearly laid out. It is a pleasure to be served by such an excellent salesperson. This was my first purchase from Canadian Appliance store but it won't be my last.

    Purchase of dishwasher

    Great customer service by Chantelle Brianna and the sales team. Large selection and best prices in town. Also, good payment terms. Would’ve been 10/10 if they had the item in stock, but this is expected during Christmas time.

    Good customer service

    I enjoyed the service provided by Adib Narang and the efficient and quick product pick-up. The stores are conveniently located in Toronto. Prices of purchased item and other appliances are very competitive.

    DO NOT buy from Canadian Appliance Source!

    I purchased a dishwasher from Vivek at the Kitchener Canadian Appliance Source store and had some of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. Vivek told me that I could pick it up on a Wednesday, and on the Tuesday I got a call from someone at the Canadian Appliance Source to inform me that my item was ready to be picked up any time after 10AM on the following day. When I drove in from out of town at 3PM on Wednesday to pick it up I was told that it hadn't arrived yet. I said that since I had been told it was ready and had made the drive in only to discover it wasn't there, they should deliver it for me. I was told they would not do this, and that I should call their customer "care" line, which I promptly did. I was put on hold, only to discover that the line drops you off hold every 6 minutes. On my 11th time calling back and waiting on hold for the 6 minute time-frame, a very harried-sounding lady finally answered my call. I explained the situation and was told that I should have known that they contract the appliance deliveries to a third party and so I should have phoned the store again before I came in. When I tried to explain how absurd this was, I was actually hung up on by the customer care person!! The next day I wanted to know if my dishwasher was in yet, so I tried to phone Vivek, only to discover that he was away for a few days. Since the individual Canadian Appliance Source stores apparently don't have individual phone numbers, I called the number that lets you check on orders. I was put on hold, and then dropped off hold again after 6 minutes! After going through this a second time I gave up and just drove back to the store, hoping that my item was in this time. The dishwasher had finally arrived, but before they would release it to me I had to sign a waiver stating there was no damage to the item. The problem was, the item was still boxed up and they would not allow me to take it out of the box to view it - they expected me to just look at the packaging and sign the form! I said that I couldn't sign to confirm that there was no damage if I couldn't see the item, and they told me they wouldn't release it to me if I wouldn't sign! So I told them to just forget it and refund my money, but they told me they couldn't refund my money in store and that I had to phone another number. Well, there was no way I was going to deal with their phone system again, so I just blindly signed the form and took the boxed dishwasher away. In a nutshell, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM CANADIAN APPLIANCE SOURCE!

    Microwave

    I needed a new microwave and Harry was very helpful with his recommendations. My curren microwave was no longer available and Harry suggested the one closest to it. He was polite and helpful.

    Making the right decision on a GAS range

    I needed a new gas range and Nick was very helpful taking me through the different product lines/price points and features. We settled on the GE line and then looked at many options available. I wanted form and function for my new kitchen at a reasonable price point. Although I have to wait a little while for delivery of my new range (just coming into stock) I am pleased with my decision. Nick was helpful, informative and efficient.
