    stove purchase

    First time customer, visited the new Whitby location, the model of stove I was looking at was considerably more expensive at 3 other major retailers. I was greeted by the sales rep George upon arrival, he was courteous and knowledgeable. I received email confirmation and a follow up by George to ensure I was satisfied. They also sent me a link so I could track the driver on the day of delivery. They were on time and very professional. overall very satisfied and will return again.

    Seamless Stove and Dishwasher purchase

    I went to CAS to purchase a stove and dishwasher for my upcoming kitchen renovation. I was referred to Mike Lebrun who made my purchase seamless. He is knowledgeable about the appliances, personable, and I did not feel pressured in any way. There was none of the dreaded 'upsell' with him as he explained appliance features and the purchase/delivery process. I cannot speak to the delivery aspect of this purchase at this time as I still have to experience this. I would definitely recommend both Mike and CAS to others looking to purchase appliances.

    Fridge and Stove

    If anything goes wrong with your appliances, even if they don't work when delivered, you're on your own. Sales experience was fine, but the morning of the delivery, I got a call that the truck had broken down and they'd call me when they had a new one, but it might be later than my delivery window. Fine, stuff happens. No call came, but the doorbell rang at 8pm and there it was (delivery window was originally 1-4). The fridge they delivered was DOA, someone at the factory had put a screw through the compressor, non-repairable. CAS sent me to a Whirlpool tech who confirmed it and Whirlpool said they would replace it. Then I found out CAS opts out of manufacturer replacements, meaning even if they have your replacement in stock, they won't give it to you. Your replacement must be shipped from the factory, outside the country and could take weeks. CAS won't even deliver it or take away your old one. Their customer support has one goal, get you off the phone and give you nothing. When I called to see if they could do anything to help, they said they'd transfer me to a manager, then sent me to someone's voicemail. No call back. When I emailed them, I never got a response. It's just not worth the hassle to buy from them, they don't stand behind anything they sell. Even the manufacturer rep seemed frustrated with them. If you're looking for your family to live out of a cooler for a few weeks, I'd recommend them, otherwise not.

    Gas stove

    My wife and I was in the market for a gas stove and decided to shop at this store. When we stepped into the store we were instantly greeted by Mr Roger Malcolm. He was able to answer all our questions and did not pressure us into making any purchase. We were there for 1 hour and eventually make mind to buy the stove. We even purchased the extended warranty because it was so inexpensive and make a lot of sense because of the security it provided to us. If you ever need to purchase a major appliance please go and see them because they have the lowest prices. Please also make sure to speak with Roger Malcolm because he is very nice and very knowledgeable.

    DON'T BUY FROM CANADIAN APPLIANCE

    Purchased a washer and dryer. I was told by the Sales rep. Joseph that the delivery team does not disconnect my old appliances. But Joseph said that I should talk with my building and they will do it. The delivery company left me a voicemail and told me when they would deliver without consulting me. I called the number back but it was an outgoing line only. The delivery company is supposedly not connected to Canadian Appliance and they are TERRIBLE. Long story short the delivery showed up.......my building would not disconnect my old washer and dryer. The delivery had to be rescheduled at my own cost.............and I had to pay another company to come in and do the disconnection. AND when I tried to cancel the order all together, they said there was a 25% restocking fee which was never mentioned! But it is stated in small print on the invoice. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!

    Kitchen renovation

    Ajay knows the Jenn Air products very well. With his help, I was able to pick fridge, cooker/oven, dishwasher, ventilator. He then recommended Samsung washer and dryer. He is honest with the pricing and discount.

    Changing kitchen appliances

    Jamie has been very helpfull, patient and accomodating with some changes we've made for the purchase of our new kitchen appliances. He gave us some time to think about our purchase and was not pushy at all. It was a great experience to deal with him and would repeat it anytime. Thank you Jamie

    fredge and dish washer

    sales are great people to talk to and have great helpful for us. The delivery team are okay but had to pay them to hook up the fledge does work

    Product

    BUYERS BEWARE. Dealing with customer's service is a NIGHTMARE. I been trying to get a solution from these people for the last 2 months with no satisfaction at all. After numerous phone calls and endless emails they only keep me running around in circles asking repeatedly to fill up complains forms (I submitted a few of them) and the answer is that I have to submit the same complain form over and over again. I finally realized that the philosophy here is "YOU BOUGH IT YOUR PROBLEM" I am very disappointed wit this HORRIBLE company. ESTAY AWAY FROM THEM.

    Kitchen Renovation

    Alex from the Ottawa location was very helpful and knowledgeable. He listened closely to what we needed and hooked us up with a nice set of appliances to outfit our new kitchen. I liked that he didn't pressure us into spending more than he felt we needed to in order to get what we needed from our kitchen. And the pricing for what we got seems very competitive. Delivery was quick and the guys who brought them were professional. There was a minor glitch along the way but our delivery was a little more complicated than most - it was an honest mistake made worse by some environmental issues going on at the time outside of the store's control. It wasn't a big deal. All in all, no hesitation recommending them. Here's hoping the appliances live up to the shopping experience so far!
