    Fridge, Dishwasher, Washer, Dryer

    When I first walked in I thought this place was great. Large selection of higher quality items that many other retailers do not carry and fantastic prices. This is exactly what I was looking for. The sales team seemed helpful, but not overly pushy. I bought a 24 inch fridge, 18 inch dishwasher and a Samsung washer and dryer. I also purchased installation of the washer/dryer. At the time I was concerned that the washer/dryer might be too big for a condo laundry closet but I was assured it would be fine. Before delivery I did the measurements. I noticed that it was not wide enough, since the plumbing hookups were coming out of the wall too far. I had a plumber in to move this to accommodate it. I also noticed that the depth measurement of the appliances left me with about 5mm of extra space... I called Canadian appliance and asked a sales rep if this would be sufficient and if this measurement included hoses needed for hookup - he said yes. I came into the showroom to measure it myself... no it wasn't. I would need another 4 inches for the exhaust vent hose. I cut a hole in the drywall so that this could be brought in behind the stud. When delivery time came, I met the delivery team in the loading bay. I watched them take the appliances out of the truck and noticed they were extremely rough with everything. They brought everything upstairs and began installing the washer dryer. I wasn't sure if it was going to fit and asked them what they thought. He just said "It gonna be stickin out." I said we may need to cut into the wall a bit more and I was very aggressively asked "WHO!? WHO IS GUNNA PUT A HOLE IN DA WALL!?" I said I would. He laughs and walks away. I lined everything up and cut out the drywall where necessary. It still didn't work. They told me I needed a side vent kit. They left with the washer in the hallway and the dryer in the bathroom. I went back to Canadian appliance and spoke with the manager. The delivery team was hired out since their own employees were busy. My faith was somewhat restored. They told me to buy a 'space saver' and they would have their guys come out to install. They came and were reasonably polite but upon them cutting into more drywall I was told "This is extra you know - I'm doing renovations for you now". Long story short they still could not fit it - the stacking kit put the dryer 3 inches back from the washer. I go back to Canadian appliance and talk to the same manager. They show me a Maytag washer/dryer that stacks one on top of the other and should fit. The next delivery team comes and we managed to get it in, though it took some time (and I was reminded of this when one of them asked me if I was "trying to keep them there all day or what?!"). Besides all this, when the original delivery team delivered the fridge, they were so rough with it that they broke off a back leg. I found it in the loading bay and showed the manager. They ordered me a new one, but ordered the front leg. I explained that they sent the wrong part and they said another one would be sent (about 3 weeks ago - still have not received...). To their credit they did wave the restock fee for returning the Samsung washer/dryer and did not charge me for the second delivery. The Maytag system was cheaper too so I was given a refund for the difference. TL;DR: Great prices, excellent selection, reasonable sales staff service and helpful management team. Terrible third party delivery service and barely palatable in house delivery.

    Fridge purchase

    I couldn't get out to the store so I had to purchase directly on the phone. The phone call took less than 15 minutes and the fridge was delivered 2 days later during the three hour window they gave us. Also had better deals than some other big box companies. Only problem is that the hinge is one the wrong side! I didn't realize this until today because I wasn't home when they delivered it but hopefully they rectify this problem asap

    Fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave

    Good prices and very knowledgeable sales people. Angelo found us exactly what we needed within our budget. Fulfillment is a bit lacking. They were closed for half of September for holidays and every time I'd call for an update on delivery it was like it was the first time they'd heard from me. They don't seem to keep any notes or records of communications. The delivery guys were great - helpful, friendly and very courteous. They gave me a 4 hour window for delivery and they called me an hour before they arrived.

    KitchenAid KECC506RBL Cooktop

    I looked around for a good deal on a KitchenAid 30" cooktop and I stumbled upon the Canadian Appliance Source website. It advertised a "Brand New Never Opened" cooktop for $499.00. This price is the best deal that I could find anywhere because it cost hundreds less than the cheapest model that I could find anywhere. Although this model is discontinued, it never bothered me because I was simply looking for the cheapest price possible as this unit is going to be installed at my rental property. The unit was in stock and it was ready for me to pick up from their warehouse very quickly. So I was rather pleased. The strange quirks that I discovered after I placed my order was that my purchase is a Final Sale and any cancellations prior to delivery or pick up carries a 25% re-stocking fee. This information was not mentioned on the website page. And this may be a huge turn off for many consumers. For example, if I was purchasing appliances for my home; these restrictions would be a red flag for me. But then again, that is just me. So as long as the product worked and it was cheap. I am happy with that. Now I can see why the reviews for this company has been UP and Down. I believe that it all depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for the best and cheapest deals around, then this is your place. But if you are looking for no hassle returns, or precision delivery schedules like Costco or Best Buy etc.....then you may be disappointed. Maybe I said....

    Range - JCBP630STSS

    Poor service. The sales person was rushing to finalize the deal. He was not telling whether the product is available or Not (I was there to purchase a GE electric stove, it was a old model). I tried calling to know the "Order Status" , the phone# was always engaged. Please be aware of restocking fee..25%. I will not go this store again.

    Terrible service

    Ordered a dryer online and they gave no indication about their delivery hours. When they called to confirm the delivery they told me that they only deliver between 9-5 Monday - Friday. So if I want to order from them I have to take time off work. I asked them to cancel the order since they couldn't accommodate my schedule and they informed me there was a 25% "restocking fee". 25% Wow. So much for getting a good deal. I guess I learned my lesson.

    bosch dishwasher

    made my purchase via phone and received order promptly. Interior had water in it so i thought it was used. Checked on line and all dishwashers are tested this way. was happy again. dishwasher works excellent at a good price.

    Washer / Dryer

    I ordered a washer and dryer al most three weeks ago, sales person at Canadian Appliance assured me it would take one to two weeks to deliver. On Thursday they call me to arrange a delivery for Saturday afternoon, Saturday late morning they call to say sorry they don’t deliver on Saturdays as the warehouse is closed, now I must wait until TUesday next week. I’m not convinced about this company, they offer a great deal take your money and then fail to meet any of the promises they made. Lets hope they improve from here on, I’m not holding my breath.

    Dishwasher

    Terrible after purchase service. NO response to my emails after a week. I called many times on Sunday during their open hours and nobody answered the phone. Waiting 2 weeks now and no dishwasher and no response. Cancelling my order. No service!

    washer/dryer

    Great price, great online experience, they called to confirm delivery as promised, delivered as promised, delivery people super polite, friendly and helpful, put machines in [lace, took away all the packing material, will deal with these people again!
