    Washer/ dryer for my condo

    Well.. a couple of funny comments on here, I had to say something; I own a small carpet cleaning company in the GTA and from my daily experience- there's always that 1 out of 10 customer you just CAN'T make happy no matter what! "The customer's always right"? what a load of bull.. difficult people are difficult wherever they turn up.. try to run a business, then you will see This appliance place has decent showroom, lots of high end stuff ,OK delivery team and overall a standard/competitive service .. not the ' four seasons' hotel.. but the prices are hands down the BEST you can find, at least in the GTA I ordered 2 units that they had in stock , I didn't even ask for rush delivery and the next day I got a call to set it up Bottom line, if you know how to use their site, know what you want, and you're a reasonable person- you're going to save a lot of cash I give them 8 stars.. and I don't easily get impressed Cheers :)

    Appliances for Rental Property

    They delivered a fridge to one of our rental properties that was the wrong model with the wrong swing. Refused to take it back once the correct one was in stock. Started a dispute with our CC company to get our money back from this company.

    samsung french door fridge

    This store had excellent selection and excellent pricing. We researched thoroughly on the internet before heading out to this one store, and they did not let us down. helpful salespeople made selecting t he product easy. communication over delivery dates was weak. I t was just confusing as to whether the product was in stock, or to be ordered, and when it would arrive.

    Purchase of washer/dryer set

    The store has limited stock in their showroom, but they do have on display quite a few of each appliances from each manufacturer, so one can get an idea of what's in the market by each Their website however is comprehensive in product line inventory if you dont' see the appliance of interest in their showroom. You can order in the showroom or online. The time I went, the showroom was quite busy and other customers had to wait. The sales representative I got didn't necessary have the knowledge to answer my questions I had on the washer, but he attempted to look online, or asked his colleague....both weren't entirely sure in the end, and I was offered a "it should have the feature by default." answer. Taking into consideration of my concerned look, the sales associate mentioned that there's a manual in the showrrom model if i wanted to be sure. With so many models and manufacturers, I would make sure that one has a thorough knowledge of their particular item of interest and not rely so much on the sales staff. However, I can understand that with such vast amount of products that it can be challenging for the sales representatives to know it all. Price point wise for the product, couldn't find anything cheaper. Essentially, got a top model for a price way low from the other stores. I waited for just a week for in stock and delivery from them. I believe the store has a protocol to have applicance in stock in a few days or a week maximum. Delivery: is an extra cost and they use their own staff(a bonus as I service is better. It's good that there is a short booking window available rather than an entire day wait otherwise. They do call you on that day/when they are on their way. I found them great and they took courtesy to ask me if I knew how to hook the appliances up before they left. Overall, product delivered as is and for the price point, it can't be beat. Delivery and appliance removal are extra charge, but less coslty than other places. A positive experience in general, and the -1 star rating is for the lack of acknowledgement of customer waiting time, and the referral to check the manual to my concern.

    Dishwasher and microwave

    They have pretty good prices when i was looking for a replacement dishwasher and a new microwave. Their website is very granular and great to browse for what i want. It shows exactly what i need to know. Delivery was quite reasonable and the service was average. I would use them again though if my first choice is unavailable.

    Fridge Order

    We ordered a fridge over 2 1/2 weeks ago. When we called the day after we placed the order, we were told the fridge would arrive within 2-3 business days. When we called back after several days, it was changed to 5-10 business days. Over a two week period, we repeatedly had to call for updates and the delivery timeline continually moved backwards. Meanwhile, we were without a fridge. We spent more on delivery and take-out than we could have possibly saved by ordering from Canadian Appliance instead of a more established store. After much frustration, we cancelled our order and placed one with Home Depot. Lesson learned - pay a little more because it will save you greatly in the long term.

    WASHER AND DRYER

    THEY TOLD ME ON THE TELEPHONE THEY WOULD BRING WASHER AND DRYER INSIDE THE HOUSE REMOVING THE BOXES IF NECESSARY . WHEN ON THE DAY OF DELIVERY THEY REFUSED TO BRING INSIDE AND TO REMOVE FROM THE BOX AND DENY WHAT WAS TOLD ME ON THE TELEPHONE.

    Kitchenaid appliances

    "Before purchasing anything from any store I have not yet pruchased from in the past, I like to do lots of research with their crediblity. We were desperate for a new washer/dryer and wanted to finaly spoil ourselves with all the bells and whistles that a laundry pair offers. (This is after using a 20 year old pair that came with the house. Took about 4 hours a load!!!!) We knew what we wanted based on consumer reports and other research we had done. We priced around a few stores and Canadian Appliance Source came out really competitve. Havent heard of them before. My buddy from work actually heard of them from this parents who recently purchased a BBQ from them. We did some research about these guys online and they had the most positive reviews from all the other local stores in this Toronto area. We felt confident in our decision based on others reviews. So thank you to the public who shared there experiences and allowed us an easy shopping experience. I will pass it forward ;) if you need any appliances I'd recomend SHOP CANADIAN APPLIANCE SOURCE!!!"

    Purchase and delivery of washer, dryer, and range

    I ordered my appliances on April 6. I was told all but one appliance (the range) was in stock and that it should be in the next week. I waited two weeks and no one called. When I telephoned to inquire, I was told that the range would be in the next day. I heard this every day for two weeks. The staff were rude, unapologetic, and unhelpful. It turned out that they ordered an item that was discontinued (the staff member entered a number wrong in the system) - again, no apology. Then, they reordered the range and told me it would not be in until end of May. When I made a fuss, they said it would arrive in two days. Never a consistent message. Every time I called, I was passed back and forth between three different departments. The delivery/installation people could not install the washer and dryer because of the state of my renovation and wrote on the invoice "should get refund on installation". WHen I called to ask for this, I was passed between departments and eventually given an answering machine to which I left a message. That was eight days ago and I have sti;ll not received a call back. I will never EVER, EVER purchase anything from this company again.

    GE Duel Fuel Range

    Ordered range and paid on April 20th. Wrong range arrived 10 days later. When I called I was told that a "relative of the owner" took my order and that he was quote"ret@rded" with a few 4 letter words thrown in. The second range arrived yesterday, May 17th with the side caved in. This time it was the shipper's fault, Sameday. I called Canadian Appliance and they told me that they had lots of trouble with Sameday. After a lot of frustration and a month of waiting, I cancelled my order and am now waiting for refund. They have had my money for pretty well a month!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
