I purchased a stove from CAS which worked for about 4 months and then suddenly stopped working. It was still under warranty, and I was assured that the cost of the repair would be covered. I waited about 6 weeks for replacement parts to arrive to fix the stove, at which point they finally admitted the parts would likely never arrive, and offered to replace the stove instead. Now I have waited another 6 weeks for a replacement stove, and they claim that they are still 'out of stock.' I can see that CAS has two units in stock online, but they refuse to give me one. This is not a warranty program - they simply ask you to continue to wait. Now, after 3 months of not being able to cook in my brand new kitchen, I am finally giving up and am going to buy an entirely new stove at my own expense. This time though, I will buy it from Home Depot or one of the other major outlets who do in fact honor their warranty program.
