    Landscaping

    Alan has a very professional, efficient team - always on time and very obliging. Had some work done by them in the past and used them again. Would highly recommend this firm!

    Backyard Oasis

    Almac brought a ton of experience and an incredible vision to our backyard landscaping project. We are extremely pleased with the entire process and the results are breathtaking. They were organized, efficient, and professional. Thank you!

    Sidewalk & Deck Reno

    This was our third project with Almac over a number of years. As before, it was completed on schedule and with a high quality of workmanship. The crew worked efficiently and cleaned up the worksite well after each work day. Almac may not be the least expensive landscape company on the market, but as with most things in life, you usually get what you pay for. Well done Almac.

    Front Porch Reno

    Our porch reno was the 3rd project Almac has done for us over the last five years using the same crew. We are very happy with the quality and timeliness, as it was finished ahead of schedule and the workmanship is top notch. Alan's recommendations for the design and materials were spot on...it looks great! Highly recommend Almac Landscapes!

    landscapes renovation

    Almac Landscapes just did a landscapes renovation for my house.There did a very good job for us and the people are nice.I will recommend them to whom need to find a good landscapes company.

    Home Landscaping

    We have now worked with Alan and his team on two home landscaping projects. We have been greatly satisfied on each project. On our old house we did both the back and front yard landscaping including retaining walls, flower beds, patios, deck, pergola, and privacy screen (some of the pictures are posted in the picture gallery). Our backyard turned out to be a real retreat! For our new house we completed the front yard this year, which turned out great! We plan to do the backyard retreat next year. We think one of the best things about Almac Landscaping is that Alan's crew is the same crew he had when he did our first house (probably 8 years ago). They are all great guys, with great ideas and experience. All are very professional, arrive early every day and work hard all day. There is no wondering if a crew is going to show up that day, or wondering if they are going to finish on schedule. In this case you definitely get what you pay for - an experienced crew who show up every day and get the job done, and it looks amazing! We have had experiences in the past where you can pay less, but some guy shows up once in a while and works a few hours and you don't know when they are coming back. In the end it takes months to get a job done. Or you have to find someone else to finish the job. You will not get this with Almac Landscaping! No worry or hassle...

    Fence and bedwork

    We previously had Almac build a deck and a paving stone patio and were very pleased with the results. This time we contacted them to replace an old chain link fence along one side and the back of the yard with a wood fence and to construct beds for planting adjacent to the new fence. Allan, the owner of the company, assisted us in planning the work. We decided on a six foot tall fence with pressure treated lumber for the frame and cedar boards. We also planned the beds next to the fence as well as one in our front yard. Lastly, we planned a stone retaining wall to replace an old wood one that was collapsing. Allan got back to us quickly with a quote for the work and a date to begin was arranged. Allan introduced us to the job foreman just prior to the start of the construction. All of the old chain link fencing was removed and disposed of, the new fence was built, beds and retaining wall constructed and finishing touches with new sod done within a week. Each day the crew arrived on time, worked steadily through the day and left the yard clean before leaving. Communication was excellent, and any questions we had were answered quickly and clearly. The workmanship is excellent, and we have had many compliments on the quality and appearance of all elements of the project. The fence between our property and our neighbour's had been in place for many years and so we included our neighbour in the discussion prior to moving ahead with the new fence, even though the new one is built on our property. Both during and after the completion of the project our neighbour told us how impressed she was with the professionalism of the workers and how careful they were to leave everything on both sides of the fence better than they found it. We are very happy with all the work which has provided us with both beauty and privacy. We would not hesitate to use Almac again in the future.

    Backyard stairs, sidewalk and planter

    The crew was great! They arrived on time, they were friendly and the work was completed well. Their approach was extremely professional and all seemed well-qualified for the work they did.

    Back yard privacy screen.

    Al came over and spend quite some time going through design options with us. For this he charged $100, which is something I am not used to. He claimed it would be refunded if he was given the work. However, for this small job his quote came in at $3800!! Two other quotes from experienced contractors each came in at less than $900, and they used the same materials supplier (Cedar Shop). At a minimum I recommend not paying the $100 consultation fee. This company knows how to write an invoice for sure.

    Backyard renovation

    We have a large sloping pie lot with 20 year old landscaping that was a terrible mess. We worked with Alan over the winter to decide how to improve it. Alan and his team (George, Adam, Miguel, James, Connor and Garrett) were there every morning bright and early and worked hard through the day. They were a great bunch of guys, pleasant and helpful. They cleaned up each evening and finished the job quickly. They had some ideas that we incorporated along the way, and we ended up with an amazing back yard that is accessible, usable and beautiful. We've already had several positive comments on it, and we love it. We are very satisfied with the work and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Almac to anyone.
