Review from HomeOwner Review left on 4 Apr 2018Rating: 5 out of 5I had a problem with a couple of the latch buttons breaking on vinyl windows I had installed a few years ago. The company that did the install for me had since gone out of business so I called Window City directly. Spoke to Chris at customer service and he was fantastic. He agreed to ship me a handful of new latch buttons to replace the broken ones at no charge. Thanks Chris!Review from Customer of Window City Customer of Window City
Review left on 14 Nov 2017Rating: 4 out of 5Vinyl windows warranty
I had 11 Vinyl windows installed in 2003. With Low E, Argon Filled, warm edge spacer. Lifetime warranty. Reported good Canadian Manufacturer. 3 windows now turning foggy, cloudy. Company state they are out of their 10 year warranty yet Competition windows at time all have 20 year warranty. (Requested and they Can't show me copy of old 10 year warranty. They kindly offered to supply replacements at factory cost with new 20 year warranty. Dissapointed to find also that Lifetime warranty becomes 10 year warranty. I chose to replace the one window glass interior only for now at a cost of $445. Labour Not included of course. Lesson learned.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

I can’t stress enough about this company and their sub contractors, stay away from this company, don’t order windows from them. The quality is sub par and when you encounter problems they will not support you. Be sure if you hire a company to install windows for you , that they are not supplied by Window City. November 15,2917 this is an update to this review, Window City has reached out to me with a reasonable offer to resolve my window issues and I look forward to working with them to have a satisfactory resolve to my problems, I will post a further update when I have more information to share.Answer from pro:
Dear Robert, Good morning. Hope all is well. Thank you for your e-mail. In regards to the window issues at 98 Scanlon Hill NW Calgary: As per the pictures provided, the issues you are experiencing are likely to be related to installation issues. Therefore, we recommend that you hire a local contactor to evaluate the installation. The company is horrible to deal with. I would not recommend them to anyone. We had over $30000 work of windows for our new home. We ordered a main double door as well. They couldn't even deliver the door with the same hardware. How is that for quality control. 2 windows do not work and one side of the door will not open. They are quick to take your money but then want to charge to have the issues fixed. Mind you we live 3 hours from their offices but hey they were okay to deliver and take our money but now do not want to service their poor quality product. Stay far away from this company.Review from Customer of Window City Customer of Window City

We purchased windows and doors thru a dealer in Walkerton for a new house build in 2015. Finally after several issues in receiving the shipment of windows and doors, they were installed by our home builder. Windows so far so good, but doors are extremely poor quality. After we made several complaints made to the dealer in Walkerton, no satisfactory service was provided....we ended up purchasing a new set of patio doors for upstairs from a reputable company in Owen Sound. Our sliding patio doors downstairs also does not seal...so air blows in to the downstairs through this door. The company in Walkerton, does not stand behind these doors at all...have made several attempts to call Window City's customer service but always get the answering machine. I would never recommend this company to anyone, nor the dealer in Walkerton. What happened to "standing behind what you sell?"Answer from pro:

Review left on 8 Nov 2016Rating: 0 out of 5Non installation of the windows
We won't recommend this company for your windows. We've ordered several windows and door thru company's dealer on Sept 25. After one delay the installation was scheduled on Nov 8, however just a day prior to the installation dealer said that windows are not ready and they don't know when they will be ready, and that it is factory's fault. Looks like everything is manufacturer's fault: complex design (when is arch part of the window became complicated?), late notification and uncertainty about the day when the windows will be ready (now it is end of November). We've asked for deposit to be returned or at least partial fulfillment of the order, waiting to hear the confirmation. Dealer refuses to return the deposit.Answer from pro:
