    Home in Oakville Woodland Trails

Rosehaven is certainly better than the last house we bought from a builder. Their initial included upgrades are pretty good too. We have had some issues with the home mostly sloppy trades workmanship, but a couple of major issues too - which they have addressed. We have an end corner townhouse, and were one of the last houses to receive our grass (in December) and it looks like we received all of the end pieces from everybody else - it looks horrible - so it will be in the annual tarion report - the onsite crew I must say has been very helpful and pleasant as much as they can be - they are not always allowed to make decisions on their own. We are still waiting for our fence - which I don't understand most people already have theirs and we cannot get a reply to our emails - they are decent not stellar and I would possibly by another home from them depending on the situation

    Rosehaven Homes

We were extremely pleased with Rosehaven Homes and their friendly and lovely staff. Rosehaven has very high standards when it came to building our home. We knew we will be very HAPPY, we will very comfortable, and most of all we will be HOME!

    Home

I was very happy and proud to have bought a Rosehaven Home. I hope the excellent service level continues even after I take possession of the home. I would recommend this to my friends and family.

    New Oakville Home

We are very unhappy with our experience with Rosehaven. We purchased in Oakville and the quality is no where near what they promote or advertise. The trades are left to work and drink on site unsupervised (discovered twice on my surprise inspections) leaving you with many issues. I will caution those debating this builder to choose smarter as this rose has way to many thorns

    Detached home

Rosehaven homes is the builder of our new home in Bradford, ON - "Dreamfields" Phase 2 - where 4 other builders were there selling homes at the same development. We have chosen Rosehaven over the other builders due to their apparent building experience. However, it turns out Rosehaven was not as good and as reliable as expected. First and foremost, our house fell apart during its construction. Our construction started end of March this year along with another builder’s homes on the same street. During its construction, at the phase when the roof was being built, the entire house had fallen apart. Rosehaven claimed to be a result of a storm, while all other builders’ houses on the same stage were intact. Secondly, our master bathroom window was built in the wrong position according to the plant signed-off by Rosehaven in our contract. We have alerted Rosehaven with this fact to help them fix this issue while the house was being re-built. Rosehaven had ignored this completely and the house is being built incorrectly. Thirdly, the garage door feature was removed from the plant due to grading. Rosehaven was not capable of overcome the grading gap to offer the garage door from the garage to the main floor. More experienced builders, on the same street, did overcome the grading. For example, GreatGulf Homes had incorporated on their plants stairs where it is necessary. Our closing date is at end of October this year. For all these reasons so far, Rosehaven have shown us the following: they are not a reliable company when fulfilling properly the plans contracted and signed-off; their building quality is questionable due to the mistakes above mentioned; and they don’t respect you as a customer considering the fact we are have not received any response from Rosehaven on the issues we raised for over 20 days despite of trying to contact them many times. Therefore, our recommendation is to look and compare all the features from each builder to get the best deal. For those who already bought, we recommend you bring an excellent home inspector even if it will cost extra.

    Waterdown Meadows

They throw a house together and hope you will not find the problems. We have has windows and doors replaced. All of the carpet and hardwood have been replaced. We have had a major roof leak from poor installation of materials. The had to rework the foundation as they placed a basement window in the wrong place and now the have to rip up the basement floor because of cracking and the foundation floor is sinking. Did I mention this is a 1 year old house. They have terrible customer service as they are told to say it is normal. We have to wait over a minute to get hot water in our kitchen and they say it is normal. They seem to think that we are first time buyers and have never lived in a house before. DO NOT buy a house from Rosehaven.........

    New Home

I recently purchased a Rosehaven Home, after long and frustrating negotiations with their Agent who didn't wanna give you any extra's and would not even negotiate an offer as he stated it's not in their policy and they are not allowed to take offer's with negotiations...really stupid and not heard of by any other builder...So after that stressfull negotiation with the builder's rep...I go to the decor centre to pick my colours, etc., the girl assisting us was nice and it came time to pick our doors...I was told the standard was a door with a door knob whereas I stated to them that I got a ROSEHAVEN BONUS Sheet which clearly indicates Door LEVERS and not KNOB...So I asked to get the Levers as per my Bonus package. The manager comes up and says "Sorry it was a Typo...(how can you mess up a knob with a lever and call it a Typo???) and stated that I would not get what was in the bonus package since in the micro-scopic contract they had written door knob and not lever, so that was their lame excuse for not giving me what they initially promised....I cannot express in any words how treacherous and disgusting their customer service is once you have signed the contract...They don't care about you or your request, once that dotted line is signed...If you like false advertisement, buy a Rosehaven home...I would never recommend Rosehaven homes to anyone, and wish I had never signed with them.

    Rosehaven Homes - Autumn Grove

My only comment to Rosehaven Homes are the design of the frontage of the house, the main entrance, the steps etc. In general, RH has given home owners with great internal features and materials. However, they did not do a good job for the frontage such as the concrete steps to the main entrance door. I can tell you that almost 80% of the houses built in this development had to rebuild, spent money in making better and nicer etc. I wish that RH can improve this in other development. i am wondering if there is anyone out there has the same kind of comments! i would recommend to others if RH changes in this area.
