Furnace not working
Called another furnace repair company, first thing the Technician did was look at the installation date of the furnace and advise that we most likely needed a new furnace. The balance of his diagnostic time was spent justifying why we needed a new furnace at a cost of between $7,500 to $10,500. Not happy with this, we contacted Knight Plumbing for a second opinion.
Karl with Knight Plumbing arrived, within minutes he discovered that our Nest thermostat had originally not be installed correctly and that the internal battery had run so low that it was no longer sending the signal to the furnace to turn on. Karl fixed the wiring of the thermostat, tested the furnace and surprise . . . it worked just fine.
Thank you so much to Karl for his honesty and not attempting to sell us repairs that we didn't need. We won't hesitate to recommend Knight Plumbing to friends and family. They'll be getting our future business.
