Stressful day ended well because of service professional John H. He came within an hour of my calling Mr. Rooter. He was friendly and professional, checked it out and told me my options. We had sewage coming out of our tub when someone flushed - he fixed the blockage and saved the day. He even guaranteed the work for a period of time - highly recommended! If there's a Plumber of the Year Award - John H. has my vote!

I called Mr. Rooter to have an old stack pipe looked at because my insurance company made it a contingency of my home insurance being renewed. I made the appt. a week in advance, & on the day of the appt, just an hour before the time they were supposed to come, I was called by dispatcher Sherry who very briskly asked me that if the plumbers were to come out that day, was I prepared to have the work done that same day. I was shocked, as this was not an emergency call, but an appointment I had made with them a week before. When I expressed concern with her question, in that I did not at the time know the scope of the problem, & could not commit to a time util I had cleared convenient time for my tenants (who would be losing the use of the only bathroom in the house for the duration of the work) Sherry advised me that if I couldnt commit to the job, they would have to cancel the appt. & rebook it for later in the week when they were less busy. I was really shocked & deeply upset by this rather abrupt & unprofessional approach. This company does not honour appts. that are made well in advance, & uses borderline bullying tactics to prioritize their appts. to maximize their profits. Had I told the dispatcher that I would of course have the job done that same day, no matter what the scope or cost of it was, and to heck with the comfort & convenience of my paying tenants, they may have come at the prearranged time. May. They had no respect for the fact I booked time off work that day to let them in, or the inconvenience to my tenants. They were very cavalier in their cancellation, & despite my telling them not to bother coming at all if they were unwilling to honour the appt, I got 3 more phone calls throughout the week asking for a rebook! It turned out to be a $5000 that I had another plumber do the next day. Do not call Mr. Rooter unless you are prepared to lose a day, or more, off work waiting for them to show up, and be prepared if they refuse to show up because you are hoping to get more than 1 quote on the job, and not prepared to have the work done the same day they might decide to show up. Out of the 3 plumbers I called for a quote a week in advance, only 1 actually showed up-and he drove in all the way from Toronto!

Our sewer drain was blocked. Louis Beres from Mr Rooter was phenominal in both his efforts on our behalf and his dedication to ensuring our total satisfaction. On a scale of 1 - 10 I would give Louis and Mr. Rooter a 10+. They were on time, very reasonable price and total dedication to the customer.

John Hutchinson was the "Mr. Rooter" Service Professional who repaired our plumbing problem today. The faucet was replaced, the main cause of the leaking; a drainage pipe replaced and a D/W connection re-done. John was very cordial, knowledgeable about his trade, and provided '3' quotes to choose from, depending on what we wanted done. We also purchased a Valued Customer Advantage membership. I would recommend Mr. Rooter based on the personal experience this morning and the demeanor of our Service Man! As the advertisement song goes, "Call Mr. Rooter right now!" I did - from hearing that ad, and was not disappointed. You won't be either!

A leak in ceiling can be quiet stressful. A plumber Chad was dispatched in short order. He was methodical in isolating a pipe leak and made the repair with minimal intrusion into the drywall. Chad took the time to explain the process and pricing. Have use Mr. Rooter previously and find the service first class.

Customer Service of this calibre is extremely rare these days so I want to give a "shout out" as the modern terminology goes, to the folks at Mr Rooter. THE BEST SERVICE bar none. The phone gets answered right away; the technician is usually dispatched the same day or, if not, you are told about the next best option. You're not left hanging wondering what's going on. Courteous, respectful and very thorough! Wish there were more companies like Mr Rooter. You're #1 with me!

Thanks Chad!! Chad has been our plumber of choice for the last 5 years. We had two old toilets removed & two new seat height toilets installed. Chad told us the price before he started, no add on after the fact. He was punctual, very knowledgeable about all plumbing and I will be using his services again in the next month for a much larger job. I wouldn't trust any other company but Mr. Rooter. They offer a warranty of 1 year on their work. Plus if you join there savings program you can save major$$$. Thanks again Chad we'll see you soon. (Order #96360)

chad helped us out with some shower/sink issues -- #96272. he went above and beyond, explaining lots of options, and spent time ensuring we were well informed and satisfied. we have always had a positive experience with mr. rooter in the past, and we will continue to call on them in the future.

Chad came out to my Mother's (Job #96167), he was very patient in explaining what needed to be done and all the options available. He first had to explain to Mom and then to myself when I arrived later. We both appreciated his extra efforts to complete the job --- a professional job well done
