We had our kitchen/office space completely gutted and renovated in October of 2017 by the Home Improvement People and we could not believe how fast and efficient they were. The workers were always a pleasure to have in our home and everyone from the painters to the plumbers showed terrific attention to detail. My house was very old, not square, and this area had not previously been renovated, so we were prepared for issues and delays. Yet, even though they did find mould behind one of the walls, there were no delays at all - they gave us a very reasonable estimate for the additional work to replace the damaged wood, and it had no impact at all on the timeline. We got a completely new and beautiful kitchen in four weeks start to finish. I also appreciated the design expertise that Charlotte brought. We wanted a white, modern kitchen that would not look out of place in our colourful, old-fashioned house, and she gave us terrific advice on integrating the different spaces so that it all flowed smoothly. We would absolutely recommend The Home Improvement People and will be sure to call them first if we have any further renovation work needed.

We recently had our main bathroom renovated and we were very impressed with the work performed by Kris and his team. The renovation exceeded all of our expectations and was completed on time and on budget with minimal disruption in our household. They were very pleasant to work with, very efficient and provided many excellent ideas. Special thanks to Kris, Key and Harry for a job well done.

Hired HIP to do a full kitchen renovation. Working with Charlotte (the designer) was great, she created the drawings for the cabinetry & helped us pick out colours. Also did a great job in picking out floor tile for us as we were really stumped. It was a pleasure working with with her. Larry (contractor) was also very great to work with. The job took a month, and he did a great job at always getting the next person in to do their job (usually the next day). He was also good at listening to what we wanted, and figuring out a way to get it done. Overall, I’m really happy with my new kitchen, and really happy that I hired the HIP to do the job. I plan on calling them in a few years to renovate my bathroom! I’m really happy that I hired them.

We had 85% of our house renovated, removing walls and restructuring the layout to create a new master suite with a sitting area and office space. The new open main floor for the kitchen and living + dining room is beautiful and the quality of the kitchen cabinets surpassed our expectations. From the first meeting with Elia, we were impressed with his scoping of the project and his follow-up. Elia gave us a price which was certainly not the cheapest but we wanted an experienced team and Elia was confident he could deliver. We were not in a rush as there was a lot of planning required. We packed up and moved out and the project started on the planned date. We met the power contractor team of John and Moses and were very impressed with the quality of their work. They were diligent, thorough and very fast. John and Moses are very hard workers and extremely responsive to our questions. They are very experienced and shared their knowledge/opinions with us so that we could make informed decisions. We can't say enough about our respect and appreciation for John and Moses. We did make changes to the original scope but they were our ideas and not because of anything missed in the original quote. In fact, Elia was very flexible when there was some items removed from the original quote when pricing the new work. Any issues were addressed immediately and courteously. We needed help with the kitchen design and Charlotte was very helpful and responsive. She guided us through the process and reviewed our selection of flooring and other materials. They provided us with a list of suppliers and we were able to use the company discount without any difficulty. We appreciated her expertise and advice throughout the process. Even the billing process was smooth. Haydee was professional and accommodating at all times. In summary, we couldn't be happier with the service we received from The Home Improvement People! The service we received was excellent from start to finish. The project was completed EARLIER than anticipated, we came out on budget, and our house looks amazing. We would not hesitate to recommend The Home Improvement People to anyone!

We couldn't be more pleased with our new bathroom thanks to the talented and efficient crew led by Nadia and supported by Gerhardt and Charlotte. The small and dark space has been transformed into a bright, spacious and beautifully finished bathroom. Home Improvement People have developed a system to support the client and keep the project on track; ours was completed in two weeks with minimal disruption.

We recently redid our bathroom tub, tile, shower, exhaust fan and floor tile. Nadia and her husband did a great job, came up with creative solutions when needed and stayed on budget. We had a minor plumbing issue but this was fixed fairly quickly. They kept the workspace extremely clean which was helpful. Would recommend!

We’re so happy we chose HIP to do our reno. From the first day Dan came to our house to job completion was a fantastic experience. Everything was done on time and the quality of workmanship was superior. All of our question were answered, the work area was kept clean of debris and the guys were very respectful of our home.
