They were excellent, quick prompt service within an hour on a Saturday morning. The plumber Jeremy was very polite, friendly and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend this company.

I was very satisfied with the work done by Thomas R Birnie. I had a sewer lining installed. The staff were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They walked me through and explained the work procedure the whole way through. So far everything looks and is working good. I would recommend them to anyone, if considering this option if requiring sewer pipe replacement. Happy customer Pam Tervo Welland, ON

We just moved into a new condominium. We took a shower the first morning and the shower backed up into the bathtub and then the toilet overflowed. We called Thos. R. Birnie. They were very understanding and sent someone within a few hours. Tim was professional, courteous and respectful. Unfortunately he wasn't able to get the snake down the drain. After contacting the Property management company, and having a discussion with the building supt., we learned that we would have to cut open a hole in the wall to access the pipes that the snake would get down. We called back and they agreed to send Tim back the following morning. He was able to get the snake down the hole and get our drains working. You have no idea how relieved we were. Moving was stressful enough and then to have problems right away. Thos. R. Birnie and Tim saved the day. I can't say enough about the efficient service we received. I would highly recommend this company. We had results. They were understanding and quite reasonably priced. Now I look forward to taking a much needed shower. Thank You

We had a plumbing backup late at night, called Thos. R Birnie & Sons and a Jeremy was here by 9am to fix the problem. He completed the work quickly, didn't leave a mess and was very professional and pleasant to deal with. He gave us advice on how to prevent this problem in the future and we asked if we should get the camera done in case (approx. An extra $100)-He said it wasn't necessary and instead of charging more at this visit, he retained a customer for any future problems we may have!

Bath-tub: Water would not re-rout from the faucet to the shower head. Needing all new piping, shut off valves and taps. Jeremy was great, courteous and friendly, the job was done properly and in a timely manner, (about 2 hours). Although services was great, I have to say the cost $$ was pretty steep, , which is no fault of the person doing the job. When looking at the bill it looks like the hourly rate was almost $400.00. I would recommend Birnie Thos R & Sons but I would caution that you will be paying good money too.

Punctual, courteous, high quality service. Took our old toilet away and cleaned the bathroom area. Robert was very efficient, answered our questions, very professional. Birnie & Sons is the only plumbing company I would call. No one else can match their level of service.

I had a major sewer back up from a pipe that was shifted near my driveway. The first contractor that was hired hit the gas line and refused to come back to finish the job as he deemed it "too complicated" because of all of the lines underground in that area. It was then very difficult to find another contractor to do this job as it is quite specialized and they saw the difficulties that the first contractor had. Thank goodness I called Thomas Birnie and Sons. Gerry came out and offered me a very fair quote (about half what the other contractors wanted to charge). He and his crew (Thomas and Roy) came out on one of the hottest days of the year. They were professional, and worked diligently throughout the day until the job was done. I also wanted a backflow valve installed through this company and this was done as well within a few days of the first job. Bryce was again polite, professional and made sure that every aspect of the job was done and no mess was left behind. I am very thankful to Thomas Birnie and sons for taking on and completing such a complicated job. I have had no problems with the sewer since and am very satisfied.

I am a long time customer of Thos.R.Birnie & Sons and have always been pleased with the work of their technicians. Today Jeff fixed my toilet and laundry problems in a timely and professional way. He figured out what needed to be done; gave me a quote and then proceeded to fix my problem areas. I will definitely call them when and if I have another problem. I would recommend this company.

I greatly appreciate the service I received and how it was done in a courteous, timely and efficient manner.
