Words cannot express our gratitude to Peter of Sigma Electric. He saved us from disaster. Our outdoor kitchen project, started by a previous company was a disaster waiting to happen. As homeowners, we placed our trust in our previous contractor, however, we were astute enough to note that the electrical work, in progress at the time, would not provide sufficient service for all our intended lighting and appliances. There were multiple clues that led us to putting a halt to the work and to look for an alternate company that would confirm our suspicions. Thus, we called upon Peter of Sigma Electric. Not only did Peter confirm our fears that the amperage was insufficient, but he proceeded to demonstrate that there were areas that were deemed not to code. Peter’s first task was to call an inspector who confirmed Peter’s findings and who also pointed out the many hazardous electrical areas. Consequently, we hired Peter who took on the enormous challenge of digging a new underground path to install the correct service cables. The work also entailed fishing extra electrical cables throughout the finished basement, installing new electrical panels, and rectifying the outdoor fixtures with the installation of waterproof pot lights. At completion, Peter further assured us with a certificate from the electrical inspector that the work was completed to code and to the highest standards. No other electrician/contractor has given us the peace of mind that Peter provides his customers. Although this all took place last year, it’s never too late to acknowledge excellence.
