I had a wonderful experience with Ambia Windows and Doors, and I highly recommend them. Tony was kind, efficient and professional, and Eugene, the installer, was the same. The windows themselves are very high quality and considered the best in the business (I did my research). I can honestly say that of all the contractors I have dealt with in my years of home ownership, Ambia Windows and Doors were the best. I’m pretty sure my property value immediately increased to completely cover the costs of the windows and more. Neighbours were stopping by to tell me my house (which is over 100 years old) has never looked better. Truly, this was a great experience. I wish all contractors were like this.

I decided to do four second floor windows this year which were bleeding heat in the winter quite badly as they are the original windows in the house and were quite old. As such I did a bunch of research on HomeStars for applicable companies. I originally talked to some friends but their suggestions had low ranking on HomeStars and with the BBB. Furthermore after investigating the manufacturers I found the products themselves to be lacking. (I actually called one and gave him the measurements of my windows and he said it would cost $$ per square foot, I asked him for a full quote based on my measurements and he wanted me to do the math. I asked him whether it was my job or his to give a quote to which he responded he was too busy and couldn't help me!) After short listing a few companies on HomeStars - I met with Mike of Ambia. He impressed me with his honesty and knowledge - also his pricing was much better than some other providers by 20% or more. I wanted to see the actual windows themselves so he met me at VinylBilt and we went through the showroom - the windows met my specs: all the thermal bells and whistles as well as metal clamps (not plastic like other) and triple weather seal. (One word of advice: see the windows you get a quote for - some other companies quote you on cheap version then to upgrade costs quite a bit more.) Furthermore, VinylBilt has a lot of custom colours and a lifetime wararanty. Also one other thing I like about Ambia is they use installers who are WindowWise certified - so the installation is guaranteed as well. (One funny thing to note as I met another company who's manufacturer prices were higher and who had VinylBilt windows in the showroom as a competitive comparison - but they had like a 5 year old version of the windows without the recessed handles, the tripple seal and with plastic clamps - meet with several windows manufacturers if you want to learn the differences!) In any case I picked Ambia/VinylBilt for my windows. After placing the order with Mike I got contacted by the installer (Frank) who came by for a second site visit and set the date for the install. Joe, Nick and Frank came by and started work at 8AM - and were extremely clean, personable, professional and did a fantastic job of removing my old windows, installing the new, capping everything beautifully and cleaning up. I could not have asked for a better job - I would highly suggest using Ambia for any windows job you have - I have a few more windows to do in the future and will definitely use these guys! Met with Michael who was very helpful and patient in coming up with solutions to existing windows which were leaking and broken installed by original builder. Very happy with the professional installation of the vinylbilt windows by Eugene and his partner, who stayed much later than originally planned to make sure everything done right and carefully arranged that my old drapes and blinds would fit the new windows. Courteous, professional and cleaned up afterwards. Windows work and look fantastic, would definitely recommend to my friends and family. Even helped to repair a couple of broken doors that were installed by another company. Overall very happy with service provided.

I contacted Ambia Windows and Doors to install seven windows (brick to brick) in my home. The installation was done on May 24, 2012. Michael, the salesperson was very knowledgeable, polite and professional in dealing with all my questions regarding the windows. The windows arrived in a timely fashion and Tony was always available to answer any questions or concerns that arose. I chose Ambia because they are a window wise dealer and employ certified window wise installers. Eugene and Vlad installed my windows and I couldn"t be happier. On the day of the installation, they arrived early and worked very hard ensuring the job was done perfectly. Eugene did an excellent job caulking my windows. As well, they did a superb job cleaning up the debris and covered my carpet and hardwood floors with tarps. Michael came by on the day of the installation to ensure quality service and did an excellent job of following up with a phone call the next day. I would not hesitate to recommend Ambia Windows and Doors to my family and friends because they care about customer satisfaction and deliver a superior product backed by a lifetime warranty. I received great quality and value with my window installation from Ambia Window and Doors.

We used Ambia for installing new windows in the 1st and 2nd floors. We were very satisfied with the entire process from the initial consultation meeting, installation (Eugene) to the follow-up call from Tony. We were also given lots of information to consider while we were deciding which company to choose and Eugene was very informative and did a great job in answering questions we had about the entire installation process.

The whole process was nothing less than stellar for us, beginning with their sales rep Michael , who took time to review our needs, explain the current windows technology and trends, and provide optimal windows solution for our house. We saw the value that Ambia provides - standing behind everything they say, openly discussing the pros and cons on variety of windows models, communicating with us through the whole process, and basically making us feel that we are a valued customer. The installation was smooth and perfect - Eugene and Vlad did the installation process as planned, spent time with us on explaining how the windows operate, and did a very clean job. There were no hiccups - no unplanned downtime. Ambia certainly does provide full service - their sales rep Michael was on site as well, on the installation day, making sure that we were satisifed with everything and to inspect the work being done. He also did a follow up call couple of days later, making sure that we are happy with our choice. I would highly recommend Ambia Windows and Doors Inc to anyone looking for Quality Windows being professionally installed. You will also receive a piece of mind, knowing that you have been treated fair and with respect thru the whole process

I contacted Michael, who was recommended by nephew, he came out promptly to my residence. I always get a few estimates before deciding on any contractor. However, Michael was very professional and trustworthy, that I did not even get other estimates.I believed he was quoting me a good price and good work. He went out of his way to replace a screen for free. Eugene did a great installion as secheduled. Michael came by to inspect the job and he found a "little flaw" (which I did not see). He had Eugene do over the installion of that window.I would strongly recommend Ambia, because I know they workmanship is excellent and their price is good and there is a lifetime warranty...if there is a problem, I know they will fix it. It sure was a pleasure doing business with Michael.

I hired Ambia for the second time to finish installing windows on the remaining windows in my home. I had some done by Ambia a couple of years ago and was very pleased. Tony was very prompt, helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. The windows were delivered within the promised time period. The installers were prompt and professional and got the job done in one day. I am very pleased with the new windows which enhance my 50 year-old my home's curb appeal and I am certain will be much more energy effecient than the original windows.

I contacted a few companies along with Ambia Windows but Tony was the only person who called me back within an half hour of me calling for information. I told him that I was looking for a new front entry door, that I needed 3 basement windows capped and that I had a broken mechanism on one of my living room windows; all of which he said his company would be able to do. Micheal called me soon after to set up an appointment and he was prompt, pleasant and knowledgeable. He was able to give us a quote during our meeting and we hired Ambia right then. Eugene the installer made an initial visit a week later and within the 6 weeks that we were told the job would be done, our beautiful new door and sidelight were made and installed; my windows capped and my window fixed!! I am very glad that we hired Ambia Windows and doors. Micheal kept us updated on everything and made sure we were satisfied. I highly recommend Ambia Windows and Doors.

I contacted Ambia Windows and 2 other companies to discuss replacing 2 of my windows and adding a couple of storm windows for some stain glass windows I have in my home. I dealt with Michael Radocchia who was very pleasant and understood what I wanted. Ambia was the cheapest quote I received and I upgraded one of the windows to triple pane. The windows were ready to install 5 weeks after ordering them and they were able to install them with only a couple of days notice. On installation day, Eugene came at 10am to start the job. After a slight mis-communication, Eugene almost took out one of my stain glass windows, he managed to fix the mistake and make the window look better than ever. Michael called twice, once during the installation and then a couple of days later to ensure that I was happy with the service I received. The clean up was fairly good although my one-year old daughter immediately found the one nail that Eugene forgot to vacuum up which was under the couch. Overall I'm very happy with the product and services provided by Ambia and would not hesitate to use them again.
