I had all of my windows and doors replaced by Ambia in October.Tony and Ambia Windows and Doors have done an excellent job with my 50 year old house. Tony was easy to reach by phone, and always returned our calls promptly. He is extremely knowledgeable, pleasant to deal with, and very helpful. He kept us informed of progress on a regular basis. Eugene, the installer, worked conscientiously on the project and was dedicated to providing customer satisfaction. I must say that Tony and his team really care about their customers. I had my windows replaced by Ambia in the fall. I complained about my bedroom window being cold after the installation and the response by Tony was excellent. He sent the installer back to check on all the windows and top up any insulation. He was also courteous and kind to a fault. Given the fact that these guys are so busy you're lucky to see them once they've moved on, I found Tony, the owner to be a true stand up guy. He guarantees satisfaction and he cares. That should go without saying from any company that you pay $20K to, but trust me, that's not always the case. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. They care about their service and their reputation and they try to make things right. That's all you can ask for.

I replaced my bedrooms and a washroom window that were not energy efficent therefore noticably cold in the winter a warm in the summer. Tony who is part owner of the compnay was extremely helpful in answering all my questions and concerns. He was very patient and knowledgable. The installer was professional and dedicated while working. Thank you for a job well done. I love the look and functionality of my new windows!

It is difficult to find ratings for Canadian window manufacturers and equally challenging to select an installer. We talked to a few companies that were well rated on HomeStars. We did a lot of research and considered a few window configurations. Tony was patient and helpful with advice throughout. In the end, we ordered 11 triple pane double low E windows and 3 steel doors and frames. He offered good value and delivered on it. The installation was scheduled well in advance and Tony was able to stick to it. Tony's team made special efforts to make sure the trim around the doors inside was similar to the original. Tony came to the job site to make sure everything was going smoothly and followed up afterwards as well to make sure that we were happy. There were no surprises and one month later there have been no issues. We truly appreciate how much warmer our house is as a result. Thanks Tony!

I replaced 7 very old windows in my home, 4 basement and 3 main floor. After meeting with a few companies, I chose Ambia because I felt they would be the most reliable and provide the best quality. Tony was very professional and knowledgeable. The level of communication was excellent from beginning to end. As I wasn't home during the installation, I especially liked the fact that Tony came by later in the day to inspect the work and check in. During the installation, it was discovered that there was a space in the wall surrounding the pipe leading outside to my air conditioning unit and that air was leaking. Tony was nice enough to have his installers fill in the gap with their materials. I sincerely appreciated this gesture. Overall, I am very pleased with Ambia's service and workmanship. I would highly recommend them.

I spent months researching window manufacturers and installers in the GTA area as my old wood windows had started to rot big time. Must have interviewed and gotten quotes from at least 8 vendors on the project. Finally selected Ambia not only becasue I found the Vinylbilt product that they sell to be a well built and most cost effective product in the market but also because Tony came across as someone who knew his stuff and wasn't pushing anything extra that I didnt need. The project was completed on time by Igor and his crew who by the way were excellent and Tony dropped by later to inspect the work. I like writing about projects where everything goes well and there is nothing to pin point. This was one of those projects. Only recommendation would be more drop sheets if possible. Overall I would highly recommend Ambia for the quality of the product they carry as well as excellent customer service and workmanship.

After contacting othe window companies and being disatisfied with their appointment follow-up I looked up Ambia on Homestars and called Tony. I am very impressed with Ambia. The service, communication, installation and window quality is better than expected. I will use them again.

We wanted to replace all of our windows in our 80 year old house. Our old windows were probably from the 70s and did not insulate well, were single pane, and rattled when we walked by. We replaced 6 windows and our garden patio door. The 6 windows installed look beautiful and the installation of the garden patio door required cutting dry wall to fit properly since the last door was installed incorrectly. Garden door looks amazing. We obtained 3 quotes and Ambia Windows price was very competitive. Since the prices were very similar, the deciding factor to go with Tony and Ambia was (1) The quality and craftmanship of their product (lifetime transferable warranty+5yr installation warranty), (2) excellent customer service with Tony, and (3) very high rating on homestars. Tony seemed very honest when he met up with us and was a very nice man. Communication via phone and email was instant. The installers (Eugene and his partner) were on time, worked hard (only took a short lunch break), and cleaned up aftwards. Tony followed up with us after the install and came by to inspect the job and made sure we were satified. There were a couple of minor issues that came up and Tony rectified them very quickly and without issue. I will be recommending Tony and Ambia Windows and Doors to family and friends in the future. after a couple of calls, we selected this company because of positive reviews. the installers came on time. they were very nice and did a great job. they cleaned up everything before leaving. i will contact them again in the future.
