I had my glass door inserts installed yesterday and they look beautiful. I have been speaking with Murray for a few months and he has been very helpful. He replied to emails within hours and was very informative and helpful. The project was done in 1 hour with no mess at all. Definately recommend this company.

Called What a pane spoke to Murray, nice guy came out on a sunday afternoon gave me a quote called him again came out 2 days later and did the job in an hour. My front doorway looks beautiful love it. I would recommend this company to my friends and family

I can't say enough good things about Barry and our glass door inserts. We absolutely love them and everyone who has come by so far cannot get over how gorgeous they are and how great they make the house look from both inside and out. Barry and his coworker were extremely helpful, patient while we made our decision and transformed our front doors within a matter of minutes. I highly recommend What a Pane!!!

I want to write an initial review of my experience with Barry and What A Pane because I was thoroughly impressed with their efficiency and professionalism. I called Barry last Wed or Thurs for a quote for two sets of doors with transom and side windows. I was given a reasonable price. He arrived on time on Sat with the design I wanted and was able to install the front door lite immediately. All the transom and side windows had to be custom ordered due to the non-standard size. For those of you who are interested, Barry advised that the transom and side windows from Builders are almost always non-standard. If you have a timeframe to which you want your door lites or windows to be installed, best to organize this in advance. A custom order will take about 6-8 weeks. The actual door lite is of standard size so he was able to put it in for me. I also have an oval window on the 2nd floor that is inconveniently situated beside a toilet. My options is either to custom make some window treatment or put in frosted window decals myself. I'm not enthusiated about drapes or venetian blinds and since I've already invested a good amount of money in this new house that I don't want to be cavalier about these small details. Barry was able to quote me immediately and make a template of the odd shaped window. A drawing of the custom pieces was promised to me by Tuesday, but he was able to send it to me by Monday. Barry was a pleasure to deal with, and same for his colleague who installed the door lite on Sat. Barry has great listening skills and gave relevant advises which I really appreciate. I look forward when the rest of the order arrives and will post photos for my 2nd review.

Great service, courtesy and very professional service. Great product range. Both Murray and John were very knowledgable. So good that my neighbour also got his double doors cut out and replaced it with full glass panels......looks like brand new doors without having to pay $6000

Found this company on the internet while looking for a particular glass insert. They were 30% cheaper than another company I got a quote from. What a Pane installed the glass insert the next day. Murray was very nice and did a very professional job as well as taking the time to explain things. I also needed a new door handleset and surprisingly he had some sets which I liked very much and were competitively priced. He installed it too and my door looks great with nice quality products done all at once. I am both impressed and pleased with this company's service pricing and products. They provide a written warranty too!!!

I had the pleasure of dealing with Murray from What a Pane. He was extremely punctual, courteous, clean with his work and patient in showing us the various designs. I was very pleased with the quality of both the product and the workmanship. What a difference a well made/installed insert looks in a dark entry way. This company is very accommodating to your needs. They will ask you to choose some sample you would like to see and they will bring them and others directly to your home. If you choose one of these they will directly install that day within minutes. Very satisfied.

Called what a pane after doing some research and getting a couple of quotes. I like doing 3 quotes and they were number 3. When he came he helped me understand the differing glass that encased the iron so that I chosen the frosted look. The other glass made it look like you had a curtain behind the door and did not like it at all. They were courteous and timely and I am pleased with the way they replaced all three panels of the door.
