    Backsplash

    UPDATE JULY 15TH This an update from my previous review of Speers Flooring. I did have some issues with mis-communications etc. however, I did hear from the owner almost immediately to address my concerns. He was very sincere and thorough, and I really appreciate the time he took in his detailed explanation. After his response, I would definitely give Speers Flooring another chance, Thank you

    Flooring

    Needed to find close match to existing flooring to replace two other rooms that had carpet. Not only did SF have the closest match, but quality of workmanship, cleanliness, price, helpfulness exceeded our expectations.

    Replacement of Flooring and Stairs

    Peter and the two teams who worked in my home did so with the utmost professionalism! From initial contact through to job completion they were professional in approach, friendly, provided excellent service with top tier work and they paid attention to all the details. Peter and his team guided us through the decision making process of a staircase replacement and of choosing stain options that would match the flooring. The end result has truly increased the value of our home!

    Hardwood flooring install

    The owner, Peter completed a quote quickly and we were pleasantly surprised. Derek and his crew were polite, efficient and very neat. Their workmanship was second to none and they even met the challenge of lifting the second floor stair railing and spindles to accommodate the higher floor and replaced them with new perfectly matched trim. All six rooms and the hallway look fabulous. Many thanks, Peter, Derek and team.

    Second Floor Hardwood Installation

    Speers Flooring just completed a large flooring project for us and exceeded our expectations on every level. Strong customer service orientation, knowledgeable staff that truly go the extra mile to be helpful, courteous and professional are just some of the hallmarks we experienced with all the staff. They carry an extensive line of very good quality and respectably priced products, and the workmanship demonstrated in the installation was excellent.     Basement bathroom and laundry room reno

    Speers Flooring did a careful site visit, and a beautiful job installing porcelain tile in our basement bathroom and laundry room, including a custom shower stall. Brian was the installer and he does lovely work. The project was completed a day early, and $600 under original quote.

    New floor install

    We bought a fixer upper and doing renovations in phases, we dealt with different trades and learned a lot through experience. One trade that stood out among others is Speers Flooring and Andre’s crew. They were professional and were able to complete the work on time, despite a few challenges. Our new floor transformed the space and we were really pleased with the layout. This year we wanted to replace the ugly kitchen tiles and finish the rest of the living room floor using the left over Torlys maple walnut wood but weren't sure on the layout approach. We wanted to use cork flooring material for the kitchen and had some ideas but could not picture the end result. We received a few quotes but selected Speers Flooring for the second time. Andre knew right away what would look the best and was able to explain why. They were able to use most of the wood material and followed through on all our requests. We also fell in love with cork flooring!

    installation of hardwood flooring

    Owner, came on time, to survey the project, produced a clear detailed estimate the following day. I had requested to meet the installer who came on time to review the subfloor. Installation was scheduled for 3 days but finished in two. Clear instructions are left on cleaning and maintraining proper climate control to protect the wood flooring. Speers flooring is one of very few companies I would recommend for material and service.

    Kitchen floor installation

    I wanted to have an old tile floor removed from my older home, to be replaced with cork. I was told it might present some challenges, but Randy and his colleague rose to the occasion and installed my new floor in 3 days. I was very pleased with friendly and efficient service.

    Hardwood Florring

    Speers Flooring provided an excellent service. The advice and information provided in the store was very valuable for us to decide what our best option was. The installer (Derek and sons) did an extraordinary job and Peter constant supervision of the project was excellent.
