We have just replaced all our floors on our main level. We hired Speers Flooring and could not be happier. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and we never felt rushed. I went in not exactly knowing what I wanted and with their expertise came out with an amazing result. The installers of both the ceramics and hardwood were so professional and even went the extra mile to make suggestions on what might look better and they were so right. They really care about the outcome and to me that speaks volume. If you are planning to renovate, I highly recommend Speers Flooring.

Having had carpeting upstairs for years we decided a change was needed and looked to replace it with hardwood. Having done a major renovation years earlier we new to shop around for service and price. We were impressed with the knowledge of all staff at Speers and made a couple of visits looking at both tile for a bathroom and hardwood for the upstairs flooring. We settled on our flooring and were served by Greg. We appreciated his knowledge and friendly advice. Remi, was the installer was supplied by Speers, He was meticulous, on time, cleaned up every day and did the little things like undercutting existing shelving to let the hardwood flow cleanly through the room. A great service and no hassle experience.

We used Speers Flooring for our Cork,Hardwood and Cobblestone installation. This was our first home and first renovation, so we were overwhelmed with decisions. The staff at Speers educated us with all the products we were using and guided us through this stressful time. By the end of it all we were ready to sign our contract feeling at ease and knew we made the right decision. First, was the Travertine Cobblestone. Brian and crew were very friendly, showing up on time and kept the site clean after each day. ( As clean as a tile installation can possibly be) The hardwood crew was next, there was a snow storm that day and Andre and crew showed up on time and worked through the day. I felt so bad for them. They were professional and apologized repeatedly for them having to cut inside. I assured them it was fine and I appreciated they're concern. I was thoroughly impressed they came with the weather and was not expecting these guys to be outside. To be honest, it is a renovation, expect a mess! Lastly, was the cork installation. There was another Andre! Better weather. Thank goodness! He showed up on time and finished earlier than expected. Absolutely wonderful. Professional as well. I can't say enough about this store. I felt reassured they had been a family owned and operated business for over 51 years and even though my job was not large, I felt appreciated as a customer and will continue to go back to Speers for my next renovation and refer them to all my friends and family. Great work guys!!!!

Went into Speers flooring on Saturday Feb 22 and we were helped by a very nice employee there (don't recall his name but he has long black hair). He took the time to explain to us what the different types of flooring available to us for our specific needs and was helpful in answering any questions we had. Fantastic customer service...until... 2 days later when i went to return some floor samples & a different male employee was there working behind the counter - he was rude when i asked a question regarding flooring. I guess it is a hit and miss when it comes to good employees. Nevertheless, since our previous visit was so good - we are not going to let the rude employee stop us from going back or referring friends. We just won't deal with that specific employee (I wish I had his name but unfortunately I made a quick dash out of there).

I recently had Speers install hardwood on my main level. It was excellent service from start to finish . The installer,Remi, was meticulous, tidy and very respectful of our home. I would definitely recommend Speers Flooring.

"We've just completed a new custom home in southwest Oakville and were intimately involved in all aspects of its design. The floors were crucial as the home is open concept and the foyers and bathrooms were each unique motifs . We could not be happier with the result . The staff are very knowledgable in terms of practical and artistic aspects and there was no pressure (we did feel other flooring centres were pushy). They were willing to see the overall intention of our interior design so there was flow to our styles and choices. Everything was on time and they accommodated our schedule when the other trades were delayed, and even came back for a final touch up. The price was straightforward and very fair (we did find other stores were gimmicky in their pricing). We would recommend this company to others in the Oakville area."

We had some challenges choosing tiles for our back splash and had gone to several other kitchen and home stores. When we got to Speers Flooring we knew we were at the right place. The staff helped us pick our tiles and provided us samples to match up with at home and booking was a snap. Helped us choose our grout color and made the experience painless. Peter and Christine were great to work with in terms of scheduling and Jamie's work is incredible. If you are renovating your home, you owe it to yourself to see the team at Speers flooring - you will not be disappointed.

We replaced our old hardwood floors. We hired Speers Flooring and we were so impressed with their professionalism. From start to finish, they were proficient, efficient, careful with moving the furniture from one room to the next. The installers even went the extra mile, by placing felt pads on the bottom legs of all my furniture so that is would not scratch the new floors. It made the whole job run seamless. Job well done !!!

We replaced ceramic tile in the foyer and powder room (new porcelain tile), vinyl in the laundry room and kitchen (Torly's cork), and carpet throughout two floors of the home (Torly's engineered hardwood). This was a huge job with lots of upheaval but Speers made it as painless as possible. They kept us informed and work was done as scheduled - in fact they completed the job ahead of time. The crew were helpful, friendly and very efficient; they cared personally about doing an excellent job. They always asked in advance about, for instance, bringing in saws, and cleaned up afterward. One tricky part in particular was custom fitting the floor (Torly's engineered hardwood) underneath the railing for our circular staircase. We were amazed at how good it looked. We love our new floors. We ran into an unexpected hitch with the ceramic floor when we discovered a think plank under the existing floor, changing the level, but their experience paid off in doing a quick workaround. Even initially choosing the product in the Speers Flooring showroom, staff were informative and helpful without being aggressive. We highly recommend Speers Flooring.

We gutted a bungalow and needed all new flooring. We wanted to put hardwood everywhere but was concerned about wear and tear and what would be most durable. The staff was so helpful in their recommendations and when I purchased the flooring they had to store it for us for months as the renovations ran alittle long. Prices were reasonable and even let me return a box without charging me a restock fee.
