I could not pass an opportunity to discuss with you, the incredible example[s] of customer service and [professionalism] that have been part of every contact between my wife and I and your organization. From the outset I knew we were in the right place as no fewer than three sales associates approached us as we struggled through dozens and dozens of samples. “Matthew” explained that we could “sign out” samples – a marketing idea that I subsequently learned is common practice in the industry – and it only took three visits to make my wife happy! Documents were prepared, the work was scheduled and the tile setters – Dod and Renaud [spelling indeterminate] arrived with the necessary inventory and equipment These two characters could make a living on stage! The work proceeded at an excellent pace, but the laughter never stopped…..and the finished product is just plain superb! I asked that the installers take on a small job involving cementing soap dishes to two shower walls…a simple matter we thought, and arrangements were made to pick up dishes and a glue gun deemed necessary for the job. Your employee Greg Adams apparently travelled to his home to obtain a glue gun for the project! The dishes were installed and all seemed well until, moments later, the dishes clattered to the floor and disintegrated! [the glue used wasn’t hot enough and failed] Dod and his son arranged with Greg for new dishes, and Dod devised a method of installing “cookies” that connected the dishes to the walls, and returned on a Sunday, to install the dishes permanently! No amount of persuasion would permit the tile setters to accept anything but a handshake! Greg wrapped up the paperwork a day later and saw to it that the tile setters were fairly compensated for their exemplary service. Customer service “above and beyond”….and we thank you.

We had Speers Flooring remove old flooring / carpets and install tile in kitchen, laundry, powder room and hardwood floors throughout the main floor. They have been an absolute pleasure to work with. From the onset, Greg our Speers flooring consultant / project manager, was extremely helpful, providing knowledgeable advice and was very patient with our many showroom visits and sample requests. He then worked with us throughout the installation, providing expert advice and installation coordination. Their teams were very professional, paid attention to detail, friendly, always on-time, cleaned up, and finished earlier than forecasted. Both tile and hardwood floors were installed with precision by very skilled teams. They were very flexible, navigating around other vendor’s delays and schedules. All of the designers, planners at Speers work as a team filling in for each other as required, so there is always someone to talk to should an issue arises. After hearing many horror stories it was a relief to have this go so flawlessly. I would definitely not hesitate to recommend Speers Flooring.

We had old carpets torn out and removed, and replaced with gleaming new hardwood floors that match our original hardwood flooring in other parts of the house. The job was done perfectly, on time (in only 3 days!) and on budget! They even left the house completely clean. I can't recommend Speers Flooring highly enough. They are true professionals.

We had delayed this project for years as we were concerned about the dust and inconvenience of removing >800 sq ft of ugly ceramic tile. We shouldn't have waited. Speers employees and sub-contractors removed and took away the old tile and replaced it with H/W, ceramic and carpeting. The workers were all friendly, helpful, concerned about our satisfaction as well as competent at what they were doing. We were running several jobs in the house at the same time and Peter was extremely cooperative in scheduling work to suit everyone's timeframes. The highlight of the entire project: Peter was on-site many times throughout the installation and always willing to answer questions or make changes to make us happy. The house now looks wonderful!

Our neighbours recommended Speers Flooring to us and are we ever thankful for the referral! From start to finish, we were so happy with the staff, service and workmanship from Speers Flooring. Greg was an invaluable resource to us and guided us through the entire process with honesty, intelligence, practicality and respect. Cannot say enough about how wonderful it felt to work with someone who you could trust to look out for your interests. His focus was to provide us with a product which would best suit our needs and vision....no pressure, no sales tactics here. Hope to see you again soon when we redo our kitchen tiles! Our hardwood installers were fantastic! Punctual, responsible, dedicated and friendly! They did a great job in our home. Great attention to detail and am satisfied with the results. Installers came in daily until the job was done...and the job was completed earlier than scheduled as well! Overall, I would definately recommend this company to anyone looking for a hardwood installation. You will not be disappointed.

This is the second time that I have used Speers to install flooring -- the first time was a cork floor, this time was hardwood throughout the bedrooms and den. They did an excellent job, were friendly, hardworking and reasonably priced. I highly recommend their servicces!

A big “Thank you!” to Speers Flooring for coming a little out of their boundary to install my hardwood floor for me. We have had different hardwood flooring done (at different homes) by two other different companies before and this has to be, by far, the best result. Andre, the head installer, and his crew were courteous, fast, and were willing to spend the extra time to answer any questions that I had. The entire process, from start to finish, was smooth. In the beginning, I had done my research and like most people, was looking for something that was on sale. I had found Speers through the internet and decided to check them out. Why not? There were good reviews. Greg, the flooring consultant, gave me the different options and educated me on the science of real wood and engineered wood. He was patient and after I left to do some more research, correspondence through email and phone calls with him was quick. Here was my situation: I was moving into a new home. Depending on your situation, you may want something different, but I choose Greg’s recommendation: engineered wood VINTAGE RED OAK NATURAL SOLID SAWN 3/4” x 4”. Why? It wasn’t on sale and it really is quite expensive. What made me go with this? It was because I wanted something that is more resistant to moisture and therefore more stable, something that was beautiful and something that wouldn’t dent. I hate dents and this stuff is strong. In my other homes, dropping a coin would sometimes dent the floor. The adage, “you get what you pay for,” really applies in the case of flooring. You’ll live with this for a long time so make sure you get something you like. The area I needed to get done was just over 1150 sq ft. It took four days. Originally, I was told 5 days, but the guys finished a day early. Some good advice that Andre gave: try to cover up important things with a plastic cover…wood dust gets everywhere. I went to Canadian Tire and got plastic sheets and pretty much tried to cover up as much as I could. It helped, but expect your home to get a bit dusty after things are finished. Also, expect a few dings and marks on the walls. The guys were careful, but moving big pieces of wood around, carrying tools, etc., there’s bound for some small accidents to happen. And now I sit here, typing away, and looking down at my floor, and thinking, “What a beautiful house I have.” Thanks, Speers! I’ll be sure to pass your name on to anyone who wishes to get their floors done.

We purchased flooring expecting to install ourselves, however, wasn't prepared for the work involved. Called Speers and they arranged for installation and had it done in prompt manner. Very courteous and we're moving soon and plan on going back to Speers. Good selection, pricing and service. Douglas and Sandra Soon

Absolutely top notch work. The install team was courteous, efficient and completely professional. From helping us select which floor was right for us to cutting the trim around the doorways, these guys are the best in the biz!
