I have nothing, but positive things to say about Eric and his work. He is an extremely hard working and honest person. The system he uses only utilizes the best parts in the market, from the heads on the sprinklers, to the pipes in the ground to the control unit. He worked extremely hard and was very detail oriented to ensure job was done to satisfaction. I have absolutely no issue referring Eric to others and would gladly provide a reference. Thanks for a job well done.

We hired Green Tropics to install our sprinkler system in the backyard, and integrate it with our front yard. They provided a detailed quote that was very competitive. Eric was always on time, courteous. He had to work with our landscaping company so to coincide with irrigation. He made several visits to check to see how the job was going so the irrigation work could be done at the appropriate timing. Our system is excellent, no problems and can always call them back for questions or enquiries. I would highly recommend this company for your project.

After calling my regular sprinkler service 5 times over a 4 week period, with no response to my phone messages, I decided to give Green Tropics a try after seeing the good reviews here on Home Stars. Eric replied to my call within 24 hours, and came 2 days later. He quickly diagnosed the faulty solenoid and replaced it right away. He then checked all my sprinklers without being asked, and put in an extender on a sprinkler head that was being blocked by plants, at no extra charge. Eric was friendly and professional and I am definitely going to use him for my fall sprinkler lock off and regular sprinkler service from now on.

We purchased a home with an irrigation system that was broken and not appropriate for the property. Eric knew exactly what needed to be done. He repaired broken valves and sprinkler heads, and added new lines so that the entire property is properly irrigated. Eric is courteous, friendly and a true professional. He did not leave the job until I was satisfied. I would have no problem referring him to friends and neighbours.

we used to deal with another company (turf rain), until i found out we were being ripped off. opening / closing was $90 per way, and heads were $40 each. i know its probably my fault for not doing my research but when i found out the replacements were inferior to what we had, i decided that i was done with them decided to contact eric. we booked eric and he arrived a little early which we appreciated. upon opening each zone, he would adjust each head since the current settings made the water spill over to the other zone and/or the street. turf rain never bothered to adjust this but eric did. any question i asked whether dumb or not (in terms of sprinklers) were explained thoroughly. eric only uses rainbird sprinkler heads, which is a better brand. price wise, it was definitely cheaper than the $40 i was being charged by turf rain. he changed 3 of our sprinkler heads after our system was serviced by eric, i decided to prepay the closing of our system. as for turf rain, they called last week, and we informed them that we are not using their services anymore.

I called around for estimate on repairing an existing in-ground sprinkler system and very few companies were willing to stick to a maximum upset price....that was until Green Tropics! When I first spoke with Eric he was quick to provide a quote and explained the various aspects to his work. When it came time to complete the repairs they were completed quickly and efficiently and he stuck to his quote even though additional plumbing work was required into the house...and we all know how expensive plumbing can get! I have kept Eric's card in case of future issues but he has provided this season's worry-free guarantee.

We were getting a patio installed and therefore needed to rearrange our existing sprinkler system to fit the new layout of our backyard. Eric was very professional and knowledgeable. From first contact till the end of the project we were very happy with the quality service that we received. Although I originally underestimated the scope of the project, Eric remained very patient, professional and courteous. He quickly realized my mistake and explained what changes needed to be made to our original plan. Eric worked with our patio contractor to ensure that our sprinkler system would be well placed. He made sensible recommendations that were in our best interest and worked tirelessly to place all our sprinkler heads in the best locations. It was a pleasure working with Eric. We were very happy to have received such excellent service and still at an affordable price. We highly recommend this company and will use Green Tropics for all our sprinkler system needs.

Eric provided a responsive, quality & knowledgeable service. He was punctual and explained, in detail, everything we needed to know about the products he installed and the process. Eric shut down our system for the season and will be providing us with on-going opening/closing. We were very comfortable in working with Eric & his assistant Patrick. Eric and Patrick came on a Sunday to connect our irrigation system to our house water supply. They were knowledgable and answered all my questions. I would certainly call them again to service my irrigation system.

Based on the Homestars reviews, I inivted Eric and a few other companies to provide a quote on my small job in a backyard in the city. Eric was punctual and provided the most professional quote with a complete break-down of the equipment required and charges. He offered great value and quality equipement.
