We purchased an older home that needed some new light fixtures installed, and the existing receptacles rewired. Arnoldo and his son showed up on time, assessed the three fixtures, and gave me an accurate quote of price and time. They were both very friendly and extremely professional - my wife and I are very happy with the service and the work they did - would definitely recommend Java!

We recently had a coffered ceiling installed, and we required all of our potlights to be relocated, plus the installation of a chandelier box with dimmer switch. Antonio did a fantastic job, as he personally visited our site to provide a quote (which was a bit lower than other quotes), and then he worked collaboratively with our carpenter to ensure all potlights were perfectly centred inside the new beamed ceiling segments. He also took the care to ensure there were no large holes where wiring was fished a longer distance, and patched the previous work. He was a pleasure to deal with, and I'll be hiring him again!

Our house has 4 units in it and had knob and tube wiring that was in terrible shape. Pavel came to give me a quote on the house and he was with me for an hour going over everything I wanted to have done. Once we had narrowed down our choices, I had asked Pavel come back and go through the house with both of my boyfriend and myself. He spent another hour explaining the process step by step. We knew this was going to be big project but we were comfortable with Pavel. The job took a little longer than we anticipated but we are really happy with the end result.

Java Electric has been my 1st choice for many years now. Yunior is extremely knowledgable. We have given him some challenging jobs over the years and he has always managed to go above and beyond what any standard electrician would do to get the job done right and on budget. This last job was no different. My mom's range of 30 years finally died (technically she was down to 1 small burner that worked) ;). I contacted Yunior, wondering if he could come and replace the wires that ran into the old range with the plug her new range required. He kindly booked her in the day before her new range was to be delivered, saying that he did not want her to be without a least that 1 burner for more then a day. Unfortunately, the job was not as straight forward as he thought it would be. However, with a bit of negotiating and a bit of problem solving the job was done to her satisfaction. He even made time to replaced an old light switch in her kitchen. It was such a positive experience for her that she has already lined up some other electrical work for him to do around the house. In July of 2013 my General Contractor called and hired Junior from Java Electric. Junior and his technician came out and removed the old wiring and installed new wires and increased the amperage coming into our house, just in case in the future we require it. Anyways, they did a good job, passed the ESA and we paid them in full. A few months later I happened to turn on a dimmer switch and realized how hot it was. I contacted Junior by text to tell him about it and requested he come out and fix it. Our schedules couldn't meet up and then I started getting responses like I'm too busy. At the same time that this dimmer switch was heating up our door bell stopped working. They had replaced the wiring for the door bell to a certain point and then kept the old wiring the rest of the way. I ended up replacing the dimmer switch and after repeated text messages, email and phone calls our door bell still doesn't work. Due to the wiring, or lack of wiring upgrade for the door bell, I have gone thru two step down transformers and I am still waiting for Junior to fix this. After a year of waiting I feel I can post this, normally I don't complain, I just won't hire the same contractor again but after spending over 10k I think a little comment is necessary.

Antonio did a great job, from giving a timely and competitive quote to professionally doing the job. He discussed my options and helped me decide what work to do how. He also took great care in covering furniture and floors. I would not hesitate to hire Antonio again.

I needed to remove (re-wire) the remaining knob and tube that we still had in the house. Manuel came when agreed, looked at the work, and provided me with a quote that was more than reasonable to do the work, and far better than the other two quotes that I got. Manuel was a gentleman. He was friendly, accommodating, and very honest. The quality of the work was impressive. The work took just a little longer that he had mentioned but it was because there some areas in the house that were not as easily accessible as previously thought (older house with very little space between drywall and exterior wall) and I added to the work that he quoted me once he began (more outlets, and light fixtures). In the end, I was very satisfied with every aspect of the work, and I would call him again for any other work. I would also recommend him without any reservation.

Antonio is simply amazing. I had 8 pot lights installed in the living room on a popcorn ceiling and he also wall mounted a TV. I have nothing negative to say. He his an honest hard working individual who takes pride in his work. I am extremely happy with the finished product.

Manuel and Antonio did an amazing job rewiring our home. They came to our house with their assistants Miguel and Rahul and worked tirelessly to rewire our house, replace outlets and install new fixtures. The crew was professional, knowledgeable, honest, dedicated, hardworking and brought a great attitude to the job. Highly recommended. Thanks guys!

Antonio was the most professional contractor I have ever used. He was very thorough in removing the old electric panel which looked like a bird's nest and replaced it very neatly with the new one. His crew even took the time to troubleshoot other electrical issues I had with my pot lights-something another electrician could not fix. This took them a few minutes to resolve the issue. They even replaced all my hard to reach burnt-out bulbs. I am very pleased and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants excellent, honest service.
