This review is long overdue. My appologies to Java Electric and and to my fellow Homestars users. We have used Java electric for three separate jobs over the past 8 months, which I shall describe below: 1) In July 2011, we moved into our home. It was built in the 1970s and there was a great deal of aluminum wiring throughout the original house and with copper wiring in the renovated areas. We contacted Java to discuss our options for dealing with the aluminum wiring. Antonio was a true professional. From the first phone call, he went over our various options and quickly put our concerns about aluminum wiring to ease. In the end, we chose the option he recommended. The cost quoted was very fair. The reason we selected Java over others was Antonio's professionalism. The work done by his crew was excellent and the ESA passed the work with no concerns at all. 2) While on site, Antonio advised us that he noticed the previous owners had connected the eavestrough heating using indoor rated extension cords, a potential fire hazard. This was also picked up by the ESA inpector. We therefor arranged for Yunior from Java Electric to come by to correct this problem. Yunior's work ethic is simply unheard of these days. He came by early in the morning to accomodate my schedule and quoted us a price, based on his estimate that the work would take 2-3 hrs. On the day of the job, it took much longer as he was working hard to snake the wiring through walls and soffits to avoid running the wires externally. Although it took him double the time he had estimated, he did not change his price. 3) We had a new washer/dryer delivered to our home. Upon arrival, the delivery men realized that they could not install the units because the electrical cord was two short (they were being installed in an awkward space). They had already removed our old unit and we ended up being stuck without a working washer/dryer... no small problem when you have kids. Without hesitation, we called Yunior from Java Electric, who was kind enough to come by on short notice and worked late into the evening to install a new outlet for us. He even connected the washer/dryer unit for us. I have nothing but the best to say about Java Electric, the owner Antonio and Yunior, one of the electricians @ Java. Without a doubt, we will continue to use them for any future electrical work and have recommended them to others.

Needed 2 pot lights added and electrical work done needed for a dishwasher. Java Electric arrived exactly as promised and made fantastic money saving recommendations. The work was done quickly and professionally. He was skilled and worked very cleanly. I would highly recommend as an honest and skilled electrician.

We hired Java to fix a broken exposed conduit, amd we liked Pierre so much, we asked him to install two exterior lights: one floodlight at our back door, and one light for our back deck. Pierre's energy and demeanor made him instantly likeable. He worked the entire day to install the lights (the conduit repair was done on a separate occasion, while we were out), working in less than pleasant conditions in the cold and rain/snow (he never once complained!). He was careful not to drip water on our newly stained hardwood floors, covered all his work surfaces and cleaned up any sign that he had been there (he even vacuumed the miniscule wood scraps on the deck!) Pierre did a fantastic job installing our lights and we're very happy with the results. But what really made this job stand out was Pierre's wonderfully pleasant attitude and diligence to do nothing short of excellent work.

Pierre of Java Electric did a great job of repairing a light with 100 year old witing and an old fixture that had previously been installed with ill fitting screws. great job and Pierre is a very personable guy

We recently got external roof potlights installed by Java Electric. Both Pavel & Antonio were too good at their job. Neat job, no mess & timely finish. Very Very Hard working people. The best is, both came across as nice people too. This is THE BEST electrical crew, or for that matter any contractor(s), I have EVER come across in my 9 yrs stay in Mississauga. 100% recommendable. Wish them all the best.

We were very happy with the service provided by Pierre from Java Electric. We called on a Sunday afternoon and within an hour he arrived at our home and worked diligently to find the problem which turned out to be a broken wire in the wall. Several small holes were made in the wall to fix the problem but Pierre fixed everything and even came back the next day to touch up the walls and make sure everything was working fine. The service provided was beyond any of our expectations and the price was great too!

I called Java Electric on Tuesday, and Wednesday they came over for the couple of things I wanted done. The outlets in my kitchen weren't working and the breaker would not go back on (mostly my fault for trying to replace the outlets myself, but I couldn't figure out what was wrong) and they also installed a GFCI outlet outdoors on my porch. I left it up to them to pick a place to install it outside because only my wife was home, and they picked the perfect place. Inside the house, they cleaned up after themselves, their work around the electrical panel was very neat, and were very easy to deal with for my wife and two month old daughter. They explained things so clearly, my wife could even repeat them when I got home from work! I highly recommend Java Electric, and they are the only place I will call the next time I need an electrician. Very reasonable price too.

My wife and I had been dealing with a hellish renovation after a burst pipe and had come to the end of our rope when our general contractor said that he could not proceed because the work that our original electrician( who had been recommended by and hired through our kitchen cabinet company) had done was so sloppy and dangerous that they could not drywall over it in good conscience. Rather than repair it the original contractor abandoned the job leaving us in a terrible predicament. We contacted several Electrical companies but most would not go near the mess the previous electrician had left. Some could not get to the job on a timely basis and others quoted a price that seemed unreasonably high as if to take advantage of our predicament. Only two companies stood out as being professional, ethical, reasonable and available and Antonio's company, Java Electric would be able to start first. Our choice was made and we could not have made a better one. To be very clear Antonio and his fellow Electricians from Java Electric where by far the best people who ever worked on our house and with such a large project there had been many hard working and professional tradesman to serve as a real contrast to those who were merely trying to make a buck and those who were living, breathing caricatures of the worst that you had feared. Antonio and his associates took pride in everything they worked on, were always respectful of us, our home and each other and would always communicate clearly about what they were doing and why. The work was done on time, on budget and to the highest possible standard.They took great attention to detail making sure everything was at the correct height and both plumb and level. They made no unnecessary openings and they protected all the surfaces. When a few unexpected problems due to previous sloppy work where found they were fixed promptly and at no additional charge. In order to make sure that the work was done on time they worked late to ensure there was no delay for other workmen and the work flow of our project. When they finished every day they tidied up and made sure every thing was neat and clean. When the electrical inspector reviewed the work he was so impressed by the work that had been done on the panel he asked if he could take photographs for a workshop that he was putting on about proper installation so he could show how it should be done. We had become so stressed by all the problems with this renovation we would cringe whenever workmen were scheduled. With Java and Antonio we could leave the house and go about our lives knowing that everything would be done right and that our home was in good hands. They have our thanks and our highest possible recommendations.

We had 2 way switches in our home which never worked properly. Pierre from Java Electric was able to find the problem and repair everything within an hour. He was easy to talk to and very explained everything to us in plain English. He worked quickly and his price was very reasonable. He also left the work site cleaner than when he arrived. I will recommend him to everyone.

Our electrician was Pierre. He always showed up on time and did excellent work. He even installed light fixtures, outlets and switches for no additional charge. Everything was cleaned up well, and Pierre would not leave until we were completely satisfied with the work. We would not hesitate to recommend Pierre and Java Electric to others. If we are having electrical work done in the future we would definitely call Pierre.
