Although this posting is a bit late in coming - I used Java Electric for a number of electrical updates to my new home in August. In short - these guys are AMAZING! Not only did they do the work exactly as outlined in their quote but also fixed a few things they noticed as they went along simply because they new it had to be done and was the right thing to do. I also asked for a few additional installations/repairs while there onsite ... it was all done with a smile and a thank you to boot. They were actually apologetic for charging a bit more (and by a bit I really mean a very small amount) for the extra work I asked for outside of the quote. I will definitely be using Java Electric again and am looking forward to doing so!

Laureano and team did a great job in removing the knob and tube from our century home. I was really impressed that they were true to their estimate even though they found some extra items they needed to replace. There is no question as to who I would recommend for any electrical job.

I needed an Electrician to perform a small job in preparation for a Fireplace installation. Java responded immediately to my request for a quotation and was able to complete the job within a short timeframe. Antonio and his attending electrician were extremely friendly, polite. efficient and neat. I would definitely hire them again and highly recommend their services.

We needed a good electrician for a very small job on short notice. I searched HomeStars for a company with a 10 rating and enough reviews for that rating to be reliable. Once again, HomeStars demonstrated its value. We had a downspout coil installed this year to prevent the freezing and clogging of our downspout during the cold months. With no outside AC outlet near it, it was obvious that it would be necessary to run the power cord through the outside wall into our mudroom off the garage. But THAT room had no existing outlet either. I figured that I would drill the wall penetration myself and feed the plug through, if Java could provide an outlet. Laureano, from Java Electric, was able to stop by the same day to give me an estimate. He was even able to do the work later that day, but my schedule made it necessary to plan for the following week. He and his assistant were punctual and professional. He explained how he could remove the coil terminal and make a much smaller wall penetration than I had been planning but removing the male plug, seal up the hole around the cord, attach a new male plug once the cord was inside the mud room, and make it look much less conspicuous. They worked fast, stuck to their estimate, and overall left me very satisfied. I can't think of anything that could have been done better. I would highly recommend them.

I make a phone call to place my order and get the quote. They arrived on time, cleaned up before leaving, excellent work and no hidden costs. I would recommend the company to my friends.

Laureano from Java Electric came to assist with some updating and repairs we needed to do to our new house. His initial estimate was accurate and, after getting an electrical inspection through the ESA, he came back and promptly took care of the outstanding issues. It passed inspection easily and I was very happy with the work and impressed with the quality and professionalism of Laureano and his partner. Our job required a full day of work, some problem solving with an upstairs bathroom outlet, as it is an old house, and updates to the wiring in our garage. It came within the quoted amount and it is obvious why they are ranked so highly here on HomeStars. Thanks Java Electric!

After being hesitant to have work done and finding a very good electrician, my mind was put at ease after hiring Java Electric. Laureano and partner arrived on time. They were professional and friendly. They worked 13 hours with only a one hour break for lunch. Laureano kept me informed as to work progress. They cleaned up very well in basement and garage where work was being done. I am very pleased with the work done and am planning to have Laureano back this month to do more electrical work. I would highly recommend Java Electric and Laureano.

We were renovating our two bathrooms (ensuite and main) and needed some electrical work done. We found Java Electric on Homestars as one of the best-rated so we contacted them for a quote. Laureano came on site and was able to give a quote for everything we wanted to do. He and the other Mr. Rodriguez (sorry, didn't get the first name) was able to come within a few days of confirming the work and they came right on time. They were able to do a lot of work in 12 hours - new wiring and installation of vanity lights, installation of bath fans, new wiring and installation of pot lights in two walk-in closets, new wiring and installation of shower light. They were really professional and cleaned up really well after (couldn't even tell they were here!), and we were so impressed we asked them to come back to rough-in wiring for a new air tub and replace a light over our garage door. They came back a couple of days after (again, on time!) and finished everything in 3.5 hours. They even pointed out a defect in one of the bath fans, which allowed us to buy a replacement and have them put it in while they were here. We are very happy with their work and would definitely ask for them again in the future!!!
