    Downpipe relocation

    Unsightly downpipe in a very visible area always bothered me. Myriam and the Tip Top Trough team removed it and installed it in a much more logical location. Professional from beginning to end.

    Great work, Good follow up

    We had a unique experience with this company. After a few communication concerns at the on-set, Pierce was determined to ensure our needs were met and the work was of the utmost quality. There was some miscommunication about trough terms and what our contract entailed - but Tip Top Trough went above and beyond to make sure that the work was done properly, timely, and followed up to ensure our customer satisfaction. As a first time homebuyer we highly recommend being on-site while receiving the quote, as this would have helped us better understand what was and wasn't included. We are grateful to Pierce for working with us to ensure our house was properly cared for. This is a company that clearly stands behind their work and brand.

    Yearly eavestrough/gutter cleaning

    Yearly eavestrough cleaning is a chore but it must be done! I am glad that I have found a company that makes it easy to get a quote from, does not "change" the quote or charge "extra" from what was quoted, is quick, efficient and responsive. I also know that if they spot anything "off" about my eavestroughs, that they will let me know. Added-value that is much appreciated. This is why I don't even bother getting quotes from anyone else anymore; I just email them when the service is needed and wait for the job to be well done. Thanks Pierce and Myriam (and your team) for providing a great service at a great price!

    My Eavestroughs were hanging. Help!

    TTT came to the rescue! Myriam was a pleasure to deal with. she had an estimate to me within hours. I approved and they were there that evening. The cost of doing this repair was far less than the cost of replacement or damage to my home had I gone through the thaw like this. Thank you Tip Top Trough.

    Small eavestrough job

    We hired this company to put new eavestrough on a recently rebuilt porch roof, and fix another small area. They took weeks longer than promised to get here, and when they did, they did an OK job on the small area, but we had to argue with them not to put the porch trough way lower than it needed to be. Then they installed it so that the lowest point was not by the downspout, but rather at a corner that then overflowed and leaked badly. Pierce came by, eventually, and suggested an unattractive fix that they never came back to do, despite our OK. In the end, a roofer we'd used who was working next door (based on our recommendation) came over and fixed the trough, moving the low spot to the downspout in a far more attractive and sensible manner. Update: shortly after I published this review, Pierce called and apologized profusely. He came to an agreement with my husband on a price reduction (refund cheque) and said he'd send it shortly. We were impressed that he took ownership of the problem and tried to make things right with us. The cheque was received within a couple of days and was for more than my husband suggested.

    Gutter and downspout replacement

    We needed our back gutters and downspout replaced. Most of the companies didn't bother responding to my emails as a small job. Pierce did and provided many options for us - when they disconnected the downspout, they found it just went into the ground. They came up with an alternative plan to redirect water. They even plugged the old hole that was in the cement. Crew was very polite and speedy. Pierce spent time to answer my questions.

    Eavestrough cleaning

    I contacted tip top troughs to have my eavestroughs cleaned as a preventative measure to prevent ice damming over the winter. I received a speedy and affordable quote, and within a few weeks they came to my house to perform the work. The work was done quickly and done well. I will be using their services again.

    Replace downspout and repair damaged trough from ice daming

    Contacted a few different companies and Tip Top Trough were one of the only contractors to call me back about a quote. The process took a bit longer than I would have expected but give the time of year, delays are bound to occur. You pay for what you get. I found them to be higher on the cost but solid installation. Would recommend in future.

    Cleaning out the 'troughs

    This is an excellent company: they quietly started work before we even knew they were hear. The workers were friendly and efficient. We'll use them again for sure. Highly rec'd!

    Various trough related projects

    This is the second time we've called upon Tip Top Trough to save us after a heavy downpour and on both occasions they have come through. Back in May we asked them to clean the troughs of leaves, fix an area which had detached after a hard winter and repair a vent which was blocked, resulting in leakage in an upstairs room. They were busy with other calls but managed to fit us in! The workers they sent were wonderfully efficient, as is Miriam who takes the calls. A second downpour in November required a return visit to the roof where they reinforced the shingles, and we asked them to repair another section of the eaves troughs which had been leaking.
