Several years ago during a particularly long and harsh renovation, we hired Pierce to replace our Eaves and found him and his company to be a real gem in comparison to the many other contractors we were meeting then. Tip Top Trough were fast, clean and polite. Back then, we chose to only repair the fascia even knowing it was a temporary fix. We were very happy with their work so, this spring when it was obvious the fascia needed replacing, I did not hesitate to call Pierce. This time we had them replace the fascia and clean the eaves. Due to the safety hazard the damaged fascia presented, Pierce did his best to fit us in asap. Even though several years have past Tip Top Trough has maintained the same level of excellence they had when we first hired them. I have and will continue to recommended them to family and friends.

I contacted Pierce to come and privide me an estimate for replacing a damaged downpipe in my front walkway. Pierce came by promptly to do an estimate and conveniently emailed a clearly written estimate via email. He also followed up a couple of times via phone calls and we decide to hire his company. They came by and replaced the old downpipe with a new larger downpipe and were able to match the color exactly. The job looks great and we are very happy. While it hasn't rained much since they did the job, I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again since they did a good job at a good price.

We couldnt find anyone to clean our old 3 storey house until we contacted Tip Top Trough. They we ready and able to get up high and clean our eavestroughs. They did such a good job we naturally called them back to clean the eavestroughs at our newe home. Pierce also recommended changing a downpipe that ran across our basement windows to the back of our house and the new downpipe works great! They are easy to deal with and even scheduled the job around my sons nap time.

Our down pipe came detached from our house in a wicked wind storm. I had Pierce come by to give an estimate while I was at work. He gave a fair price. The job was pretty straightforward but they did a great job, making sure to match the straps to the existing eaves trough. Piercewas easy to communicate with over email, which was a pleasant surprise given my past experiences.

I found Pierce on homestars and liked what others wrote about him and his company. I decided to hire him and did not regret it. The team that did the work did a great job. The areas that needed work we're complicated and hard to reach but did not seem to be a problem for Tip Top.

Pierce and his team were very prompt and kept me in the loop every step of the way. They were very professional and got the job done in a timely manner.

Like other reviewers, I called multiple companies to quote on a fix for my eaves troughs that were pulling away from the soffits and spilling water onto the ground below. One company promised to call back to arrange a time for a visit, and others never called back. Only Pierce followed through. There were some communication difficulties due to technology issues, but when Pierce did show up, he was thorough, explained the options of repair and replace, and never did a hard sell on replacing everything instead of a quick repair. He had a cancellation and job was done sooner than expected. The work looks very well done (it's 2 storeys up!), and after several rains, the water is no longer spilling over the edges onto the ground. I fully intend to call TTT again for downspout disconnection and when replacing is necessary.

As of November, 2011,East York residents were required to disconnect their downspouts . I called 4 companies listed on your website and, although Tip Top was not the cheapest, I feel I got what I paid for. Pierce was very professional and I felt very comfortable talking with him and felt that I would get the service quoted on the estimate , and I was not disappointed. I would have no trouble recommending them.

For some unknown reason, our downspout was routed to drain directly against our home's foundation: causing leaking in the basement. We got several reviews, but Tip Top Trough offered the most sensible solution at the most reasonable price. They were clear about the work that they were going to do, and worked hard to make the work neat. We're very happy with the service and have recommended them to friends.

Fast, professional and polite. They cleaned it all out and left no mess. I have already recommended TIP TOP to a friend who used them to install all his new troughs. Very easy recommendation. Thanks for the good work!
