Metalex Security new door completes the front visuals of the home...makes it very complete. Indeed, the door is beyond my expectations. When combined with professional, courteous service, the process was clean and straight forward. I would recommend Metalex Security to my friends.

We hired Metalex to install a security storm door. Their products are high quality and the service is superb. Not only did they do a great job installing a security storm door but they also corrected the installation error of a different company that installed our regular door incorrectly. These doors are excellent. In the summer we leave our front door open and just have the security storm door closed and locked and it creates a cooling breeze throughout our house. No need to run the a/c (except during humid heat waves) at night in the summer, so we saved $$ on our hydro bill.

Metalex fabricated some custom hinged (to open in case of fire) basement window bars for us 16 years ago and the project was an absolute nightmare. I have no idea if the person we dealt with was a sales associate or an owner but the design was flawed and he absolutely refused to recognize such until it was physically proven to him. The bars were improperly assembled so the hinge would not allow the proper swing direction and the colour was wrong. He adjusted the price to address these concerns but only after some heated discussion and sent us away with the items while the paint was still tacky.

After a bad experience with Lowes my daughter E-mailed me the web site for this company. I wanted a storm door that was also a security door, they fit the bill completly. their service was excellent,the installers did an excellent job and I am delighted with the results.
