    Very Professional Repair

    We called Markham Garage Doors Ltd. when the Gear Kit Assembly of one of our door openers was broken. Ernie W. showed up within a few hours of our call, replaced the broken Gear Assembly in a very professional and efficient manner, with most welcomed advices on lubricating and maintaining the proper functioning of our garage doors. Thank you Ernie !

    Garage Door Replacement

    I contacted Markham Garage Doors in mid-July 2020 as I wanted to replace the original garage door on my father's 1962 house in order to get the house on the market for sale as quickly as possible. I was contacted within a few hours by Louis Kwok, a salesperson with the company, who visited the house and provided a written quote for me the SAME DAY along with some colour samples to choose from. Louis indicated that it usually takes 3 weeks for a garage door to be delivered but said he would try to rush the order. I was pleasantly surprised when the door arrived in 2 weeks and was installed the next business day. The door looks great and significantly improves that exterior of the home. I would highly recommend Markham Garage Doors to anyone wanting to replace their garage door(s).

    Garage Door Repair

    I had an issue with my garage door cable. It broke on the weekend. I called 3 garage door companies and to my delight Markham Garage Doors was the only company to call me back on the Monday morning. Ernie showed up promptly on Monday, had everything fixed and replaced within an hour. Thank you Ernie and Markham Garage Doors. Your great customer service, quick response and repair to my garage door was greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend this company for any of your needs. They really care about customer service.

    Garage door repalced

    Fabulous service and follow up. I could not decide what I wanted and they were so accommodating and patient in providing revised quotes. the installation was done on time, when promised, quickly and neatly. My garage door opener was refitted and runs perfectly. The surround I ordered was installed the next day and it looks awesome.

    Kind, reasonably priced and professional work

    Just had 2 springs replaced on my garage door. Ryan called before he arrived, was very friendly and completed the job quickly and efficiently. Markham garage doors has always provided great service and are very easy to deal with. Would recommend this company for all your garage requirements

    Garage door won't open

    (Edited to remove anonymity) Unknown cost of repairs was the reason we waited 4 months to make the call to have someone diagnose the problem of a garage door not opening even though the motor was running. Found Markham Garage online, but hesitated, due to concerns that we may need to replace the whole system. Decided to fill out the online service request finally and got a call from Kevin the very next day. When I described the problem, he told me right away what was needed, and what the cost would be, yet I was skeptical. However, when Ryan A came and replaced the gear assembly in half an hour, our 25 year old system was like new. He even found the problem for the wall mount control not working - a loose wire. For a few years, we thought we would have to replace the whole system. We found Ryan to be friendly, personable, efficient and knowledgeable and he answered any questions I had. We were also able to get another transmitter compatible with our system. Thanks to Kevin and his team for this very affordable repair experience.

    Double Car Garage Door Replacement

    We had a double car door garage installed (galvanized steel) to replace our rotting wood one. From the start with Louis consulting to the end when Avery installed, it was a great experience and very happy with the service and product. Louis answered all my questions and Avery did a great job installing. The new door is a huge improvement in design and insulation. Thank you, will come to you again when our existing garage opener needs replacing.

    Great service!

    We had a door that had a broken spring for an embarrassingly long time, it had just been sitting. Markham Garage Doors fixed that and installed an opener. Ernie was amazing! Very friendly and professional. Even though the door (and our garage, and the dumpster in the driveway) gave him a harder time than he was expecting, the final cost was as quoted. I would definitely recommend using them!

    new garage doors

    We contacted Markham Garage Doors last month when one of our garage doors wouldn't close. Customer service (I believe her name was Freida) was very helpful and made arrangements to send Ryan out that afternoon. Ryan was able to diagnose and fix the problem (cable had gotten all tangled up), but while we were able to use the garage door, the cable threatened to get tangled up again every time. Ryan checked the other garaged door and it was showing the same tendency too. The garage doors were cheap quality (no weather stripping) and had been self-installed by the previous owner, so we decided to go ahead and order new garage doors. Four weeks later when our doors arrived, Ryan came out to install them. Everything went smoothly and we are very very happy with our new garage doors. Now we have absolutely no worries when we open and close them. I highly recommend Markham Garage Door and Ryan!

    Overall Experience

    It is, often, quite daunting undertaking any kind of reno/remodeling project but that has not been my experience with Markham Garage doors. The pre and post sales process was smooth and seamless. The care and attention to detail pre install along with the preparation advice was excellent. The installer was friendly and efficient, an altogether nice guy.
