Back on the evening of June 25th, (three days before a celebration for whole bunch of school friends, all of us 70 years and over), I discovered hot water dribbling fairly fast from under my kitchen sink. I quickly turned the hot water supply off under the sink. I knew I needed a plumber and I was pretty frantic to get the leak fixed since there was still a lot of cooking and cleaning still to do. I picked Valentin at Strong Plumbing after I checked All Stars on the computer and found he had a 10 rating. I called him and left a message. He called back, I explained the situation, and he went out of his way to set up an appointment for the next day around noon – he showed up on time and had the leak fixed in less than an hour. Valentin’s prices are reasonable and his service is excellent. He’s a skilled, trustworthy honest plumber – they’re a rare breed – and I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone. If I ever need plumbing work done around here again, he’s the guy I’ll call. There’s a good reason Valentin has that 10-star rating – he earned it!

My house in Bloor West Village had some plumbing issues, so I decided to try Strong Plumbing as its Homestars rating was a `10`. Valentin responded to my text the same day, and we arranged an appointment for the very next day (a Monday!). He arrived when he said he would, and gave his opinion and very reasonable estimates on the work that he recommended. There were four jobs which he completed: 1) replacing a leaky valve (which was the most difficult as it was in a tricky location in the ceiling), 2) replacing the mechanism inside my ancient toilet tank (the toilet was leaking and wasting water), 3) connecting the waste water discharge from the laundry machine so that it drained directly into the underground pipe (it used to empty into the laundry tub, where it was in constant danger of spilling over; thus no more worries), and 4) replacing a valve which had completely seized up. Overall, Valentin was quite efficient and courteous. He even noticed some small, potential problems (i.e. the bathroom faucet was loose so he tightened it), and made some suggestions as how to avoid these problems from becoming catastrophic. The quality of the work was excellent and very reasonably priced. Whenever I will require plumbing work in the future, I will definitely call Strong Plumbing!

Val and his team completed work on time. Once finished could not even tell they had been here. Quote was reasonable, work was excellent. Guys were polite and hard working. 100% recommend Strong Plumbing to anyone needing any plumbing work.

Val from Strong Plumbing returned my call for service within a few hours. I required replacement of two exterior taps and replacement washers on two interior tap. Val booked me in for 8 am the following morning. He arrived promptly and in the course of carrying out the work he noticed hot water from an electric heater entering a cold water pipe because of the lack of a directional control flow valve; a problem which he able to remedy without another service call as he had the part available in his service vehicle. Val performed all the work very professionally with minimum disruption to our water service. The work was completed within 2 hours; half the cost was for parts. He left the work sites spotless.

We had a leaking pipe and Valentin came out within 24 hours to fix it. He even returned my text on a Sunday! Valentin is a total professional, shows up when he says, competitively priced and he really knows his stuff! I highly recommend this company!!

Valentin came in to replace a shutoff valve that had gone bad. While here, he spotted other potential issues and explained everything in detail. He walked me through pros and cons of attempting certain types of repairs, and was very helpful in guiding me through my decision process. 100% recommended.

I had a new kitchen counter top installed and needed the new sink and faucet connected. Other plumbers said they couldn't arrive until the following week. I called Valentin and he was able to drop by the very next day! He was punctual, polite, and did a great job. I will definitely call him if I have any other plumbing projects!

He did a great and quick job at checking the main drains of the basement before the renovation. He came quickly and as promised. Very professional and complete inspection of the drains. It was money well spent! I have recommended him to many people without hesitation.

We have called Val for many projects because of his expertise and efficiency. This time was for a repair to a cracked pipe in the basement. Val replaced the pipe and as always cleaned up afterwards. I highly recommend our plumber Val to anyone!

I had a leaky faucet for my bathtub and a friend recommended I call Valentin. He replied to my email right away asking for pictures, and as soon as I sent those in he gave me a quote. The next day he came and fixed it. Valentin is very helpful and reasonable, didn't mind me watching everything and showing me how things work. Great guy to deal with that I would easily recommend to all my friends!
