Valentin came to our place to access our old toilet that was leaking and suggested replacing it. He came back within a week to replace it. He had to redrill a hole in the floor to fit the hose in since the concealed toilet we bought was too big for our small city powder room. He was very polite and through in his job. He is very straight forward and to the point. He tells it as he sees it. We would recommend him any day. This is the second service he has performed for us in 2 years. He initially came in to replace our lead pipes last year and was very good and polite even then. Thank you Valentin!!

On returning from a few days away, we noticed water seeping into the front of the basement and a loud hissing sound coming from the water meter. The city confirmed that a water leak was coming from our portion of the intake. We sought out a contractor on Homestar and identified Strong Plumbing. Val from Strong came to quote on the job within 24 hours, quoted a price, to which we agreed. His team arrived later that day, and completed the work as quickly, professionally and neatly as we could have wished. As part of our research, we decided it would make sense to put in a backwater valve (subsidized by the city) as the work was going to be in the same area as the water intake. Val helped us with arranging the details for the building inspector and gave a small discount for the work that was avoided by doing the work in the same area. On the second visit to install the backwater valve, his team were equally as professional as they were on the first visit. We were delighted with all the interactions with Strong Plumbing and wouldn't hesitate to us them again.

Val from Strong plumbing was very professional in his assessment of our draining/plumbing issues. He did a great job in explaining our plumbing issues in great detail. I would recommend him for any household that is having issues with their plumbing. Great job!

WHAT A MESS, in the basement apartment of our old Victorian. Water, clay and gravel everywhere. Perfect scene for drama and chaos. After several other plumbing renovations, we have had our share of drama and chaos. What a delight to find Valentin of Strong Plumbing through our Homestars search, for this project. No song and dance here. They came when they said they would. Pleasant and soft spoken, Valentin exudes the quiet confidence of someone who knows his job very well and is conscientious about having things done correctly and his clients being completely satisfied. We had a burst pipe in our washroom. I forgot the serviceman's name but he was very nice. He arrived within 30 minutes and worked quickly even in a messy situation. This company is professional and I would recommend :)

Called Strong Plumbing based on previous excellent reviews on Homestars. Valentin returned my class within a few hours, and scheduled an appointment within a couple of days. Also had a couple of other toilet-related issues that I was hoping he could address. While Valentin **could** have done a band-aid job and charged me for it - he was honest and told me that the issues would likely be recurring, and suggested that I think about replacing the toilets - which would save me money in the long run. In short, an honest, friendly, competitively priced, and professional guy. Couldn't recommend him more highly,.

I had Valentine put new fixtures into an old shower that some had renovated in a none traditional way. He was efficient and responded quickley to my call. I thought his price was bit high but I haven't used a plumber in years.

I called Val and asked him about changing my old washer faucets in the bathub to a new one knob with a cartridge so I don't have to keep changing the washers every two years when they start to drip again. He asked me to send pictures to help diagnose what he needed to do. He gave me a quote and stuck to the quote when the job was finished. The day before, he texted confirming the time he was coming and arrived on time. The work went well and by the time he left he also fixed my plumbing leak under the kitchen sink. My cat loved him except after he left. My old dripping tap in the tub that my cat used to lick water out of, now was no longer dripping and the cat now stares at the tap pawing at it to try and get the tap to start dripping again. Val is very busy so if you don't reach him text him at his number. Be patient. He is worth every penny and for the most part works by himself. He is the best plumber I have ever used and hope he doesn't stop doing plumbing for a long time.

We were looking to put in a backwater valve and after a lot of research settled on Strong Plumbing. Val is City of Toronto certified, which is key in applying for the subsidy provided by the City. Val and his crew were knowledgeable, courteous and punctual. They did a great job (the City inspector signed off on their work with no problems!) and they left their work area clean! Also, one of the big things we liked about Strong Plumbing is that we didn't get the feeling we were being taken for a ride, which is a big plus in our book!! We will be using Strong Plumbing again in a month or two for our next planned plumbing project! Peter & Olia

We've had a nasty sewage-like smell from one area in our basement that manifests itself only during cooler weather. We contacted Valentin based on reviews in Homestars and we not disappointed. He made every effort to offer solutions and made 2 trips to discuss our concerns and possible solutions. He only charged for using his snake camera in our main drain. We will definitely be contacting him again if we need any plumbing services again.
